Definitely a great episode with great messages. Himmel, Stoltz and Stark are all powerful fighters, but even more important than that, they share the qualities of a true hero in their resolve, intentions and kindness. A couple details that I enjoy is that it's revealed that Himmel and Heiter have a long friendship starting from when they were in the orphanage together, and you can tell they have a close bond by the way they talk to each other. Then also when Stark splashes mud on Stoltz's clean cloak, not only does Stolz smile and encourage Stark, but the next thing he does is kneel down to look at him eye to eye, further muddying his cloak, showing where his priorities lie. One last thing that I've noticed on this rewatch is a reoccurring theme, said by Frieren at the end: "People won't know how you feel unless you tell them." Which now that I think about the story, it definitely applies to quite a few areas and is probably one of the core themes. Looking forward to what you think of Sein next episode!

This is something that someone pointed out kinda in response to some people asking: ''okay yeah, they don't need it, but what if Stark tried to to pull the Hero Sword in this episode? Is someone going to pull it at some point in the future?'' since that would've defeated what the episode was trying to say. Himmel defeated the Demon King with a replica sword, that sword remained beautiful and shiny in Himmel's funneral. Meanwhile, the Hero sword that was supposed to bring hope to the people, was just a rusty sword attracting monsters and causing problems. So it doesn't matter.
