well, everyone has their own circumstances and it's not something easy to tell about, unfortunately. I would understand if something like that happened to me, especially as a person who doesn't talk a lot to relatives and isn't out, it would be just weird for me to even come to my mind early and fast enough

I’m glad that this didn’t cause a fight between them, because if my partner didn’t tell me they weren’t out to their parents until after we moved in together I would be upset. (Not that they weren’t out, just that they didn’t tell me sooner because that’s an important detail)

I was lucky with my parents when I did my coming out. The only think my dad toll is " she need to like my turkey" because my dad is the one who make the turkey for Christmas family's party.
