Had the issue with extracting but finally got that to work. Only for it to constantly say I'm not a patron. I've logged in and out, redownloaded the game 3 times, ran as administrator, and yet it still doesn't recognize my account.

Download the files and then look for them in the folder and see if you can extract them on your own.

Hi Arkmoset, For connection and permission issues (0% download/freezing) please see https://www.carnal-instinct.com/support#Launcher Otherwise it appears that when you were stuck downloading 0.1.78 you were an Avatar patron and therefore that was the correct build for your tier. When upgrading there is a delay on Patreon's end before your new tier is passed through to the API. This isn't something we have control over as it's handled by Patreon themselves. Has anyone found a way to get the game to work, I'm all for supporting artists but I'm getting irritated at the lack of response on something that is obviously a big issue.

Same issue. Sometimes the new launcher freezes at 0% download... sometimes it freezes at 0% extraction... sometimes it downloads and extracts, then soft-locks with all buttons grayed out except 'support'. It only downloads version 0.1.78 each time. It refuses to download 0.2.0.

It's stupid, because the old version of the launcher told me that an update was needed. Unfortunately, the new Launcher doesn't work for me because I have an Avatar.

I can run the game via Carnal_Instinct_ARPG.exe just not through the launcher. I have the latest launcher but it only gives me the download option which I have done but it won't give me the Launch Game option. It remains greyed out.

Exactly this. v0.2.0 was an Ascended-only release and the update arrives for Avatar patrons in a few days. If you can't download v0.1.78 then please link your Discord with Patreon and access the support channel.

No success downloading the new update. I deleted the old folder and set the download location correctly. It only downloads the v0.1.78 version off the launcher. Once finished downloading, it unzips the file, but I cannot run it off the launcher. The only exe file available in the download is the ARPG version

Unfortunately it's unrealistic for us to get verified exe's as it would require certification which isn't cheap. If you scan with AV you'll be able to see that the download is clean :) Thanks, Team Carnal Instinct

Hi Carnel Team. Would just like to inform you about the installer. It's detected as "Not Safe" when you download it? Is that something you could maybe fix ? It also might make some people very uneasy about downloading it etc :) Great content and great game! :)

the game is always freezing now whenever i try to save. it's unplayable and i can't progress unless i play without saving. Also, the fight scene with the inquisitor is still pretty buggy. i get dialogue camera as if it's over, but she's still alive and hitting me.

I can't launch the game after 3 downloads. Carnal_Instinct.exe is not there. I have searched my entire C drive. Carnal_Instinct_ARPG.exe is there, but Carnal_Instinct.exe is not. Hidden files are visible.

search up carnal_instinct.exe on your home search bar

Download Launcher > Choose Install Location > Download the game (About 2.6GB) > Launch the game (Will open the file location of the .exe) > Click the .exe > Get a boner.

I have never been so frustrated trying to download and run a game. your instructions need to be a lot, lot clearer.

I also can't launch the game after downloading twice. The app "Carnal_Instinct.exe" is not showing up anywhere. There is also a 2.7 GB zip file in my games folder marked "0.1.78" that I can't open.

Why can't I launch the game? I've downloaded it 3 times now and it won't let me click the launch button and after the download is complete I'm stuck forever extracting it. It almost looks like a bug as it makes no progress and stays at zero. It says "Extracting Files... Detail to Show actual Progress, Can be set as Dynamic to show actual Status". Anyone else having this issue?
