Hi all,
First up, minor celebrations are in order so grab your nearest tipple of preference and raise a toast; It is now one year since we made the first build of Carnal Instinct available on Patreon. The amount of progress made since that time has been vast, with the game evolving and improving almost beyond recognition. From scenes with exotic species such as the Naga or Centaur, to dabbling with beings of the void or striding across the sands as a Jackal. Art, combat, movement, camera control, and many mechanics have been overhauled completely, with many new ones such as crafting added to the game. From a near silent experience with no voice acting, to fully fleshed out encounters voiced by an array of talent. Even the visual density of Sabu has changed completely (the images below showing our early and current builds).
This initial update for November and it makes a substantial visual change to Kethra's domain; we've been rebuilding our outfits to ensure compatibility with the customisation system and (as you may have seen in the concept art post) we took the chance to massively improve our rank and file, female foot soldiers of Anubis. We will create male Anubites in time, though we need the male Jackal basemodel first to match the style.
The really fun part is that now you can use these new garments with your character, mixing and matching to get the precise look you're after. Everything from just the bra to the collar, mask, and skirt are all options to play with. It's all customisation compatible too, so they can be equipped whatever species you are or whatever cup-size you have. Those fans of the Inquisition look won't be left out for long, with the Inquisitor's Garb currently in production.
As always the map has undergone some substantial changes, with an initial pass done on several areas around the Great Temple of Anubis. This is in preparation for the main quests which pick up very soon, with voice actors currently recording lines for the next step in the Path of the Jackal storyline; "Law and Order".
Finally the winner of one of the Discord Polls is nearing implementation, with the Inquisitor of Bast gaining a sex scene in the near future. Once her new look is done the opportunity to get hot and heavy with her will soon follow so it won't be long before you can bend her to your will. To this end we've already had new dialogue recorded to flesh out her character a little and to allow some back and forth as you win her over.
Making modular clothing was a hell of a challenge, especially to have them compatible to our satisfaction. We're now working to get Hybrids back in the game, so watch this space. As always thank you so much; it's been an incredible journey over this past year, something that's only possible thanks to our amazing supporters!

- Changed max weight to 999 (temporarily) as it's not currently used and doesn't impact the player
- Changed large sections of the map surrounding the Great Temple of Anubis

Where is the outfits and cosmetics on V 0.3.18? I go into character customization screen and theres no outfits at all

My fix was to go into launcher settings, "change" the game location to the same folder and reload the launcher, seems to have fixed the issue for me.

New member, but I can't download this game. The launcher fires up and logs into Patreon and gives me an option to download game, but the download bar never moves past 0%. Anybody know how to fix this?
Bought werewolf manhood early, but it's still locked. Is there something else I need to do? Older releases weren't like this.

All righty, you just started and are playing as a hetrosexual male. You arrive at the docks. Playing looky loo. You talk to the slave trader and check out the snake woman on the right. Hey, I can interact with her. Shadya is her name and collecting your seed is her game. Soemthing wasn't right, proceed with the game.....play a few days. let ur mind work on Shadya. Ok Team Carnal, while my seed is about to be harvested I HAVE NEVER SOUNDED LIKE A FEMALE on the path to ectasy, nor have I EVER SOUNDED LIKE A FEMALE when my seed is collected. Now i do realize that a fantasy snake woman could be the one making all the joyful noises... but somehow i doubt it. which makes me think of the other sences, playing a male toon. The guy is soundless. reminds of living with family/room mates/ children, where we try to be quiet. when u can i really think u need to get some male grunting, groaning, snoring etc into the game, especially with Shadya. ( next time u do the deed with a significant other try to pay attention to the sounds that are made by the guy)

yea theres still alotta side quests too with scenes that have been marked "coming soon" for quite a long time now

This patchnote is a little light. I think at least 1 sex scene by patch would be the minimum. And I'm still waiting for the unfinished quest. Too much time is spend on the cosmetics and this should be only done after the base game is finished...

Yes but no. it still doesn't work. I even overpriced the steam version which will have stinks embarrassment. the download always remains at zero.

I don’t know if this is a known issue, or I just got unlucky, but my game freezes any time I try to save. So I can no save my progress, so I can’t make progress on my save past where I was before the last update.

Currently, the Secret Admirer quest has a bug. I switched to a different quest, and when I switched back, it skipped to the objective of delivering the amulet, but I don't have the amulet yet.

Hmm I would say if you are at the end of where the last update was yes new game is best to get the outfits but can use the old safe as I just tested it.

This looks nice! Is there any male clothing options in this build? Or not planned yet? I read you're working on Male Anubites or Male Jackals, whichever. Is there plans for male dragon species or cat species?
