This is close to where I stopped watching. I did watch a few key episodes after but basically why watch a show where the author of the source material just sets up characters to mess with or kill. if you want to make a poll to find out the episodes to watch so you don't have to watch it all I support you.

Instead of Arya finding her brother, another set of Stark siblings split up. But at least they're still alive. I remember the first time watching that wedding - the Red Wedding. So very hard to watch.

I don't ever want to see something like that again, it was so horrible so much violence. It just seemed like violence porn, I know it's just a TV show but no, I don't enjoy such sadism. I mean I thought Tara getting shot was bad but this was genuinely too much for me. I feel mentally scarred by what I've seen and I can do without that honestly. I was enjoying the show despite the brutality but no...just no.

Absolutly right. I watched a lot of this reactions to the „Red Wedding“ and than, a little time later, I saw some reactors who started to watch the whole series Game of Thrones in 2011 for the first time. I am not sure who was the first one. Mayby American Mom or The Normies?

Not sure if this needs clarification, but book readers knew this was coming, so they set up cameras when they watched this episode with family and friends to get their genuine reactions to this infamous scene and posted them online. After that reaction channels started popping up.

To clarify about what the title is about: 'The Rains of Castamere' is the song the wedding band played right before... you know. Cersei explained the story of House Rain to Margaery a few episodes back; the song is about a now-extinct house whom the Lannisters crushed, Cat was unsettled by the song because it is inappropriate to play a Lannister song at a Stark wedding. Of course, she didn't know then that both Walder Frey and Roose Bolton had betrayed them for the Lannisters.
