Yeah the necklace is basically a symbol of a human being owned. She took it off and the Ash basically made the deal that he would help her heal Nadia if she put it back on.

I've been watching a show called Manifest, and the actress who plays Nadia is in that too. It's a bit weird to see her in a very different role. Lauren's necklace is indeed from the Ash, it signifies him "owning" her.
