Do you want to know how Triton ended up into Neptun's orbit? There is a theory that Neptun supposed to be closer to the sun and Uranus as the last planet. However, Jupiter's and Saturn's gravities kicked him out and that's how he ended up where he is. Oh and He probably got Triton along as he were thrown away.

Update: I looked it up, Pluto's radius is about 740 miles and Ceres' radius is only about 290 miles (rounded) so Ceres is still smaller than Pluto by a decent amount

Fun fact Ceres was named after female Roman goddess and Charon was named after a male Greek mythology figure the ferryman for the underworld. Also Ceres and Hades/Pluto don't really care for each other cause of Persephone myth so seeing Pluto show bit jealousy over Ceres liking Charon is interesting if compared it to myth

True, but when Jupiter was going crazy in Neptune's orbit, he mentioned that "maybe they deserved it for what they did to the 5th giant." Definitely eluded to their guilt in some way. Could've just been an accident, but the way Jupiter has been acting lately, I wouldn't be surprised if it was somehow more intentional

To be fair, we have no idea how much having a third gas giant would have affected the solar system based on the planets gravitational force. After all, when the sun forced the planets to change orbits, it would have eventually destroyed the solar system.

100% think that's what happened. Somehow, planet X is responsible for what happened to Triton. And I've got a feeling Neptune is well aware of the details surrounding the incident. He's either hiding it to spare Triton's conscience because of what happened to the little moons, or he's protecting Saturn and Jupiter because they're the reason planet X was cast out of the solar system in the first place. My question is did planet X do something that made Jupiter and Saturn take that drastic action on purpose🤔

-EDIT after the rewatch on YT- Scratch the first part of my comment because at the first watch I didn't realised that Triton crashed against two moons. I thought they were asteroids... This will make a huge difference: 1- Triton was a Neptune's moon from the start and the little ones were formed by the ramains of the two killed moons. 2- he was a Planet X's moon and after the crash he ended up in Neptune's orbit Whatever the truth really is, one thing seems pretty clear: he isn't a dwarf planet 😢 -EDIT END- ----- In the end I was SO RIGHT with the Triton theory, I'm feeling a little proud of myself 🥲 Anyway, I've kept laughing most of the time, expecially with Europa's bad acting as the enemy in D&D 😂 Great, great episode!

It's so great how the perceived "loneliest planet" in the solar system actually has the biggest, closest family. I adore Neptune and his whole crew so much. "I'll be here when he is ready to talk." Even when he's upset, Neptune is still like the most supportive parent ever. Sure he's crazy and constantly embarrassing Triton, but he has a heart of gold and cares more about Triton and his other moons than he does himself. The other planets can't even remember their moons names, but Neptune is out there literally juggling space rocks and going above and beyond to keep his little moons from feeling sad about the argument he and Triton had. I really hope they can all heal from the trauma they've clearly endured and move on together. They've all been through so much🥺 But they're a family🥹💙

He blame himself for the incident even if it wasn's his fault to begin with. Something thrown him into Neptun's orbit and the gravity of Neptun simply caught him. I am sure this has to do with planet 9th even if the planet didn't confirmed yet to exist. But looks like the creators use him for Triton's story.

I don't understand why Triton was crying. Does he feel guilty for what happened to the little moons. I mean, you're right, if this is the theory they're going with, technically he did break the moons, but it was still Neptune's orbit which caused the accident...but how did he get stuck in Neptune's orbit to begin with? Actually, they more or less got ceres size acutely, ceres does have about 1/20th of Pluto’s mass, but in terms of size ceres is just a little smaller then Charon

So, those tiny rocks are the remain pieces of Neptun's moons then. There is a theory about when Triton came into Neptun's orbit, it destroyed a few moons of Neptun in the process. So the creators used this theory looks like it.
