oo :o ty for telling! but i think probably since sun lived a bit longer this actually adds to my theory, as it is implied sun got bullied by another star and what goes on with the moon -> planets or planets -> sun is some sort of generational trauma. when jupiter was created, sun probably wanted to raise him right, and grew up with him and tried to grow him to be happy/good and was protective to jupiter, but slowly just became like the same people who hurt him and hurting others, which passed down in a chain. only jupiter has really stayed in such a position for him, and is like his golden body, someone he has known for almost his entire life.

This is a nice analysis. But, Sol and Jupiter weren't born at the same time. Sol was already a T tauri star when Jupiter was born. T tauri stars are a class of variable stars that are less than about ten million years old. In short, Sol was a toddler when Jupiter was born. But sure they were grown up together and Jupiter was the first person Sol ever met. I am able to understand Sol's defensive reaction.

detail most people didnt pick up on: sun gets VERY defensive to jupiter in the last part, and its probably because of the recent early era solar system script that was shown to us. jupiter and sun formed at the same time, 4.603 billion years ago and it was just them. Mercury may be sun's best friend, but that doesnt mean mercury has always been there. on the contrary, mercury is in a 4 way tie for youngest planet! meanwhile jupiter has always been there, and was looked up to sun when they were both younger. Off of the script we read, they are both referred to as 'young sun'/'young jupiter' and sun is very gentle and caring to jupiter (more soft then he has been shown with any other planet), therefore sun may hold some kind of endearment and protectiveness to him. Sun calls jupiter a perfect role model basically, and seems to think jupiter can do nothing wrong, yelling at others for even implying jupiter could make a mistake, while jupiter tries to tell him about X. Its also clear this preference to Jupiter is something sun hasnt shown before due to their lack of interactions, as even saturn (jupiter's best friend) seems confused on why sun got so defensive (timestamp 11:51, he looks confusedly at jupiter after sun screams at ganymede over jupiter). this makes a lot of sense to why he wouldnt know, he is apart of the 4 way tie between youngest planet i mentioned earlier. he wasnt around for the start, and didnt see how jupiter and sun basically grew up together. this is just a theory based on current evidence, but explains their reactions to everything going on.

So I have a theory! I think that all the stars of the galaxy and the stars in generall are very wise, they have universe knowlege from the moment of their birth. So the Sun knows about bigger stars or bigger space objects in general, that's why he felt nervous... or maybe he can feel the gravitational pull of the black hole at the center of the galaxy so he knows that something is far away which is enormus in comparison to him... or Proxima Centauri said to him the legend of TON 618 or Phoenix A 😂

Personally, I think the sun was justified here. Ganymede and Europa intentionally acted with malice, arrogance, and cruelty. The didn't care about true peace or justice. All they cared about was achieving their own goals, gaining power over others, and creating their own unfair hierarchy system. Ganymede and Europa didn't care AT ALL about destroying BILLIONS of innocent lives on Earth or causing harm to the other planets (or even moons for that matter...we all saw how nonchalant they were when Luna was thought to be "taken care of"...) And to make things even worse, Ganymede and Europa never changed their ways due to a new, greater understanding of others or a newfound belief in compassion. They ended the violence of the Moon Revolution ONLY because they lost. The Earth, on the other hand, changed his behavior because he understood that his actions and mentality were really hurting others around him. He apologized, and continues to apologize profusely for what did. He tells the truth when asked and takes full responsibility for the awful things he did. Ganymede and Europa (especially Ganymede) still continue to shift a lot of blame and have yet to really prove any genuine remorse for their deeds...this incident with the sun cements that. Rather than approaching the sun the way he should have initially approached the Earth, Ganymede flies off the handle and, once again, proposes drastic, confrontational measures to solve problems. I understand that there are clearly points of contention with the Sun, but I was so disappointed to see Ganymede instantly reverse course and go back to his old ways and mindset. The Sun, like the Earth, has a profound responsibility to the overall wellbeing of others. As the literal center of their universe, he has an obligation to protect everything and everyone in it. If Ganymede and Europa are always going to turn to dangerous, chaotic actions to solve problems, they should leave the solar system until they truly grasp the severity of what they did, feel genuine remorse, and learn the importance of approaching complicated issues through peaceful means. So much interesting stuff going on. GREAT episode!

I think they are going to realize that Jupiter's Secret is in the kuiper belt since Saturn told them, They will think that this is their ticket back into the solar system since if they expose Jupiter for being a horrible Planet they'll be able to come back. Problem is they'll either run into the Dwarf planets which will cause Pluto to rat them out or "He finds them" however the teaser of Search for Planet X reveals they find him asleep.

The way the planets orbit the sun, the sun's entire solar system orbits the Milky Way Galaxy...and the Milky Way Galaxy orbits a supermassive black hole which has FOUR MILLION times the mass of our sun. Despite the sun's tough guy attitude, he definitely understands what it's like to be a little fish in a very big, very scary celestial pond. The sun is clearly at the mercy of the cosmo's greater forces just as the planets and moons are at the mercy of the sun's. It was nice to see the sun reflect, even just briefly and silently, on his own place in the universe for a change.

you can tell when Sun learned about the plan to eliminate all life on Earth he was pissed. The sun is a very important element for life and even though many moons have water it's frozen and they are too far away from the goldielock zone and sun's warmth to sustain life, the Earth is at the perfect distance from the sun not too close and not too far away. not to mention the gas planet moons are too close to their planets and cause radiation for any life to develop as much as earth the best they could have is micro-organisms

Well in this episode we can all see that the Sun isn't just a psychopath or he has BPD but is also pure evil especially when he is talking to Jupiter about the science... He seems that he knows the correct answer (of course you sneaky omniscient Sun...) but he wants badly to see Jupiter telling to the moons they are wrong. Question! How the Sun doesn't know about Planet X? Maybe he knows that Planet X disappeared from his solar system but because back then was the early solar system maybe he was crazier than now and didn't see or understand much of what was happening, plus Jupiter and Lord of the Rings maybe have lied to him about the event... who knows... excited for the next arc!!! Omg I did not expect that ending!! I might have a theory as to why the sun banished Ganymede and Europa. Judging by his facial expressions, Ganymede’s words definitely struck a chord within him, and he might have seen the truth in his words since he did shoot a look at Mercury towards the beginning of the video, but he doesn’t know what to do with that information. So he turned more psychotic in an attempt to internally deny Ganymede’s words. He may have lashed out at the two moons because of that and because he’s angry since deep inside, he knows Ganymede’s right. That’s why he reinforced his authority afterwards and even taunted Jupiter to explain the science to them. Because just like everyone else, sun has his own insecurities but he’s adamant on keeping them hidden because of his central role in the solar system 🫠 it’s just a theory though, but this episode was amazing!! Keep up the good work 🥰

In all honesty, I don’t blame Jupiter at all for not defending them. There was really not much he could have done, since even he is terrified of angering the sun. Also it seems as though the Sun knows about the Planet X incident and might be holding it over Jupiter’s head.
