Remember that Deb is in Dexter's mind and his arguing with himself! Dexter thinks he himself is a monster. At the same time that he hopes Harrison doesn't have a dark passenger he also would like that special connection. Two sides of him!

Yep. It was coming! Soon as he said “you like crime?” to the daughter at the table… i was waiting lol. What a well written reveal! Makes me sad too. But I dont know how a kid could be abandoned, know his mothers death story, and that he was there, and raised by serial killer, and not have some issues. I think he has his mothers heart tho, seems like a good kid at the center, and maybe that’s what he does. Works his anger out with “good violence” —- he needs professional help. He may be able to stop.
