The sequel to Resistance will probably more to your liking, and I am simultaneously wrapping up another story, but not sure how well received it will be since it is primarily a futanari story. This story is a little different, as you say. However, this isn't quite the same as possession/body control either, in that this other persona is still from within Jennifer. Also, I wanted to focus a little more on the male protagonist more than I have in the past and show his ongoing struggle with the situation, which is where some of the corrupting element comes into play (as well as Jennifer's struggle to resist transforming). I don't want to give away too much, but there will be a core elements of the story that addresses your keen observation of Jennifer not being "present".
