I think Austin & QT are referring to Owen saying he was "angry at Lauren" - which I too was confused about becuz the doc didn't elaborate on why he felt that way. I do agree tho that its not appropriate to harshly judge him for cutting contact - he was clearly traumatized by the whole thing and wants to move on in his own way. He's gonna have a hard time trusting ppl in the future.

I’m so sorry but the comments about Owen (Unknown Number Documentary) were wrong and I think we should be careful with how we speak about victims. Owen never said he hated Lauren once. He simply said he no longer spoke to her and probably wouldn’t again. Not only do people who were traumatized together often lose contact with eachother because it’s triggering, but at the time of filming Lauren was still siding with her mother. Owen’s stalker who was sending him explicit messages daily. He is just as much a victim and he’s doing what is best for him to maintain his own peace

The unknown number thing happened to me as a kid. My cousin got so many harassment texts (we were 12-13 and just got cell phones). I was the main suspect. It wasn’t until my dad threatened to call the cops that my cousin dropped it. It was never confirmed but my parents thought she sent herself the texts from our grandpa’s phone since he let her play games on it all the time.
