New Random "Male Speaks" stories. Learn voice commands and watch the male interact with the female Maive AI by going to Scene -> Story Menu -> 2nd Page -> Male Speaks. These stories are created dynamically from random male voice commands and the female responses to those voice commands. The demo videos were all made with the random Male Speaks with Maive AI story. See the vamX Voice Control section below if you want to control vamX using voice recognition.
Adjust the female facial expression amount in the new Expression % slider in Sound -> Female Voice.
Fixed many bugs / incompatibilities in the Pose -> Animated Pose section. See the change log below for a list of animation system and other improvements. New Animated Poses (like a blow job animation and crawling) will be released in the next release.
If this is your first time using vamX, start with the first tutorial as described in the download steps below.
Download and Run vamX
THIS IS AN OLD VERSION OF VAMX. DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSION OF VAMX FROM THE MOST RECENT DOWNLOAD VAMX POST. vamX 1.25 reads "one point twenty-five" and is more recent then vamX 1.7 ("one point seven").
1) Download vamX.1.19.var - Update 2, Released June 18, 2022 - for Virt-a-Mate 1.20.77.9 - Or, instead, you can download vamX.1.19.var - Update 2 from Mega.
2) IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT, YOU MUST ALSO DOWNLOAD vamX.Base.1.var (or download from Mega). If you already downloaded vamX.Base.1.var, you don't need to download it again!
3) Optionally (not required) download the AddonPackages. Users of vamX.1.18 don't need to download these again.
4) Put var packages in your Virt-a-Mate/AddonPackages folder. Don't rename or extract .var package files. If you have previous versions of vamX, you can delete them. Previous versions are only useful if you created and saved scenes with those versions of vamX. If you don't have Virt-a-Mate learn more here.
5) Open Virt-a-Mate, click the Scene Browser, then find and open the vamX scene (thumbnail of a woman wearing a bra and panties, lying on a bed).
6) If it's your first time using vamX, press Help -> vamX MAIN TUTORIAL from the vamX UI -> Scene tab.
7) If you're having problems or want to learn advanced tricks, see vamX Help.
8) Should I download anything else? If you've downloaded the latest version of vamX, you have all vamX features. The only additional thing you can download are the separate vamX Environments. Environments can only be opened as separate Virt-a-Mate scenes and cannot be switched to in the main vamX scene tab.
9) First get comfortable using the vamX scene, then advanced users can Add vamX to other scenes.
VAMX VOICE CONTROL 1) Set your Windows default microphone before opening Virt-a-Mate 2) Have the Virt-a-Mate window active (the last selected window selected by clicking anywhere in the Virt-a-Mate program or clicking the Virt-a-Mate icon, not by using Alt-tab). You can download VaM Stay In Front .zip (Optional - Helps if you accidentally click other windows while using Virt-a-Mate - VaM Stay In Front keeps the Virt-a-Mate window active, which keeps voice commands active). Addon Packages (optional) Full Addon Packages folder (2.6 GB) (You must still download vamX 1.19 in addition). Some vamX items and pages are marked in-game as AddOn, to use those items you need the Addon Packages. The Addon Packages haven't changed for vamX 1.19.
Voice Effects Pack (optional) In Sound you can add Vocal Effects. All Vocal Effects are modifications of the original female Belle voice. You can choose from a variety of normal sounding or strange (e.g. angel, robot, monster) voices. Download the vamX Voice Effects Pack.
For those already familiar with vamX functionality you can load vamX into any scene using the Merge Load scenes. Watch the Merge Load Tutorial Video on Mega or X VIDEOS (set the quality in x videos to 1080p). You can also use the Add vamX plugin which adds an "Add vamX" button to the main Virt-a-Mate menu.
NEW FEATURES
Two new adaptive/random stories on the 2nd page of the Scene -> Story Menu.
The first one is a simple story where the male says random commands (the same commands you can say with voice recognition). The female responds to the voice commands. The types of commands he says change as the story progresses based on their arousal increase.
The second story has the Male interacting with the Maive AI. The male tries to respond to the Maive AI's emotional state, as well as their arousal, and makes voice commands based on his semi-random desires for what he wants to happen next.
ALL vamX poses load wherever the female walks to. For example if you start walking with Pose -> ANIMATED -> WALK AROUND, then while walking you switch to a chair pose in Pose -> CHAIR / SEATED, the pose (and chair) will load in the female's destination position (and she will stop walking). Once you have loaded a vamX pose in that location, all other poses will load in the same location (for example if you switch to a standing blow job pose, or even start a dance from Other -> Dance). To restore that Scene's default pose locations, either switch Scenes or go to Pose -> ANIMATED -> 2nd Page -> Switch to ORIGINAL STANDING Location. This will restore all pose locations to their defaults.
Adjust the vamX Expression amount. If you want her facial expressions (for example during pleasure) to be less (or more) intense you can adjust the Expression %. Find the Expression % slider in Sound -> Female Voice. After adjusting the expression amount, you need to wait for the next expression to see any changes (this slider doesn't effect the current expression). This slider is also available in Plugins -> Head Control, Sound -> Speech & Moan, and Other -> Mood & Emotions -> Female.
Improved various voice commands. Commands that request a threesome with a certain gender, now work even if you aren't already in a threesome. Commands where you request the woman's touch to change, cause her to start touching your or herself.
Improved secret room (bondage room) bed lighting.
ANIMATION SYSTEM FIXES
Fixed issue where dances from Other -> Dance loaded broken if the female was in the middle of walking or other Animated Poses.
Fixed issue where loading dances from Other -> Dance could stop Animated Poses from working. Now you can switch to an animated sex pose in the middle of dancing.
Fixed issue where if you transitioned to a non-ANIMATED pose in the middle of an ANIMATED pose, when switching back to Pose -> ANIMATED poses the pose animations wouldn't play.
Fixed issue where the walk animation, or other ANIMATED poses continued if you switched to a normal vamX pose (like a bed, standing or chair pose) while walking. This led to people in strange places, floating in the air, etc. You can now switch to a vamX pose even during the middle of an ANIMATED pose, such as while standing up, transitioning to standing doggie sex, or walking.
If you start walking while in a chair pose, the chair now correct disappears, instead of floating along with you during your walk.
Fixed issue where after walking around, if you wanted to restore the original standing location, Switch to ORIGINAL STANDING Location (or bed/floor location) often had to be pressed twice.
Fixed rare issue with detecting surface height where genital colliders would be hit before the environment. This would have resulted in poses being positioned in the air instead of on the ground, during times when poses are positioned automatically such as in Poses -> ANIMATED or Scene -> Custom Scene.
Fixed issue where there was no way to reset the location of dances from Other -> Dance, except for reloading the vamX scene. Now you can reset Other -> Dance locations by changing environments in the Scene tab, or loading the original pose positions by going to Pose -> ANIMATED -> 2nd Page -> Switch to ORIGINAL STANDING Location.
BUG FIXES
Fixed issue with thrusting (including toy thrusting) breaking when moving people to a new position and then choosing a new Action.
Fixed issue with Hide / Show / Move web panel buttons not working in Sound -> Online Music & Sound
Fixed issue with starting and stopping Maive AI. If you stopped Maive AI in a non-sex pose, no vamX Actions would work (thrusting actions would work until you closed and re-opened the vamX scene). Stopping Maive now restarts vamX's ability to control male & female thrust, and other body parts and vamX features.
Fixed random music generation (such as when generating a random scene or using voice commands to generate random music). It was often playing the same music and didn't include all music choices or any built-in music.
Fixed issue with actions breaking on scene init on scenes with a threesome person who was in the scene but disabled (the Atom was not on).
Male chains are now correctly removed when starting stories that remove chains.
BUGS / IN PROGRESS
If you are in the shower animation and start a Pose -> Animated Pose the shower moves with you.
vamX now detects if you have rare morphs which cause the LipSync plugin to break. If the LipSync plugin breaks it causes poses to stop loading in Virt-a-Mate, so this can be a major issue for those people who have these rare morphs. If you have one of these morphs, vamX will now show an error message when the vamX scene loads. This error message tells you where the bad morphs (morphs that mess up Virt-a-Mate when used with LipSync) are, including in which AddonPackages, if they are located in AddonPackages.

Each scene has different objects and surfaces in different locations. To make sure you don't end up with the people starting in the middle of the floor, or a wall, when changing scenes people start in one of the default scene locations and poses (but thrusting can continue etc. if you are in a pose that thrusts). To get an animated pose started again, just choose which pose you want to be in, and it will animate towards it.

if i try to change any other scene background with VamX Scene tab, the entire animation gets stop and characters just stand doing nothing. any possible way to fix this?

No it's not using a wifi connection. I am using the official Oculus over priced lead which I believe is optical for best performance. I get good results in VR using Microsoft Flight Sim 2020 with this setup.

If you were using wireless with the Quest 2, that can also lead to bad framerate if you haven't properly set up the Quest 2 for wireless connection (try another game that runs from Windows and see if it has a bad framerate too).

I did try in VR last night using a quest2 connected optically to the PC. I will try some of your suggestions and see what happens and report back.

Yes, you can just put vamX.1.19 instead of 1.18. It's also possible to keep both, but you may get confused and accidentally open 1.18 instead, so it may be good to remove 1.18. In general Virt-a-Mate has bad performance in VR. A lot of things kill performance, including hair, clothes, mirrors, animations, lighting, and just having people in the scene :). Play around with Virt-a-Mate UI user preferences and vamX UI -> Plugins -> GiveMeFPS. Also, you can sometimes disable the male, or try a different female, try a simpler scene like the Black scene on the 2nd page of vamX UI -> Scenes, or a scene with just a bed, etc. If you're still having problems with frame rate, let me know. If you're in VR, don't expect to get more than 30 fps, even after everything is optimized.

After joining recently I did my first install yesterday vamX 1.18. To update to I just need to delete vamx.1.18.var from the addon packages folder and copy vamx.1.19.var into it. Also I did notice yesterday I was getting fairly poor performance. Is there a quality setting or similar to try and improve performance. My system is reasonable spec with an i7, 16GB mem and RTX2070.
