We continue working on the new Jill and on the new area for the next release. Due to this works being so repetitive, we don't have too much to talk about or to show :(

For this week, I've decided to update the FAQ for Bioasshard making it more organized and adding more questions.
Bioasshard FAQ V. 2.0
RELEASES
-Release dates
We cannot guarantee any release date. Because there are many factors affecting them:
1-It depends on how big the update is. It's not the same an update based on bugfixing than one based on adding new content, gameplay, mechanics, etc.
2-We have other projects in the work.
3-(This one was unexpected, right?) The PC. This one is really important in changing every plan...
-What's the state of the project?
To get the latest info on the project's development simply read the 'weekly reports', 'Meguido's Reports' and other posts, here on Patreon.
-What's with the version numbers?
This one is easy: The version numbers are like this: XX.YY.ZZ
Where XX marks the overall state of the project. So when that reaches 1 it means the project is now fully complete. Playable from beggining to end.
YY grows whenever a big update is made. To put it simple, an example in Bioasshard (the game, not the Arena) would be whenever a new chapter/mission is added, this number will grow in one.
ZZ grows per small update, tweaking stuff, bugfixing, etc. Mainly bugfixing. And it'll probably change to reflect how many changes were made instead of just adding +1. So if we add 5 fixes to the current 0.0.3, the number would be 0.0.8 and so on.
-There will be a release for Linux?
"I've been looking into it but right now there's 2 cons. The procedure to get the build done... It involves a lot more than just building it in UE4. And the other one is the shader model. I've read some people talking about SM5 not being compatible with Linux builds. So that would turn the water into a gray material. I'll have to look at it deeper when the next release gets close and see if we can manage to get it to work (but it would be completely untested)." -Meguido
-What's the difference between Bioasshaard Arena and Bioasshard?
Bioasshard Arena can be considered as a Testbed for Bioasshard. When all the game systems are implemented (on the Arena), we will start with the main game (Bioasshard).
-I can't uncompress the .rar... HELP!!!
Be sure to update to the latest Winrar version (5.50+).
EROTIC CONTENT
-Will it feature X-Rays?
That's something to keep in mind if we manage to implement a fluid sim system.
-Will it feature Pregnancy?
Currently the Arena features inflation. This affects to the movement speed and the visibility.
-Will it feature Birthing?
As for now there's only inflation on it, there's no plans yet for anything deeper than that in that aspect.
-Will there be bad end H-scenes? like loosing to specific enemies or bosses gives 'special' GO screen.
One of our politics is to not reward the player for playing bad (even if the current sexttacks could be seem as so). So no special H content for Game Over. I think that there will be enough H-content on the game so this kind of scenes won't be necessary.
STORY & CHARACTERS
-Will the game feature male protagonist too?
Yes. There will be Male and Female protagonists. One is already "spoilered"/confirmed: Chris.
-Infected or Zombies?
Even when so many people are calling them zombies, they are not. They are infected. Main difference is, zombies are undead while Infected are still living beings.
-If there are going to be male characters in the game, will there be female zombies?
Yeah! there will be female Infected 'beauties'.
GAMEPLAY
-Will it feature a Corruption system?
With the Sexttack system being reworked, something along those lines will be in place. Not too deep though, meaning no story related changes based on that 'param' but game-play.
-Will 'XXX' creature/enemy be added to the game?
We plan to add a lot of the RE fauna. But obviously they won't be a 1:1 copy but more like based on it and adapted to the lore of Bioasshard.
-Will Dogs/Cerberus enemy be added to the game?
Well, yes... is the only enemy (appart from infected Male and Female) already confirmed.
-Why do I need 3 headshots to kill an Infected?
There will be a weapon upgrade system just like in RE5. In the Arena the pistol is at its lowest level and is pretty similar to the M92F from RE5.
-Help! The knife is useless!
Actually the survival knife is not very powerful. But to inflict more damage you have to use as if it was a fire weapon, i.e. aim for critical parts. Hitting the legs is not the same as hitting the chest or the head.
-The current Sexttacks are videos?
No, they are not. The current Sexttacks are all in real-time but using cinematic cameras instead of a free one to avoid at much as possible clipping problems.
-Movement is not fluid?!
One thing we wanted to mimic the most was the movement mechanics from RE5. This may cause Bioasshard to look not as fluid as other modern games, but that's the reason. Giving more fluid movement to the player would reduce difficulty to zero with those dumb enemies lol.
Improvements will be made without losing the scope but trying to make it as fun to play as possible. The RE5 spirit will remain in there.
-Better camera control or free camera button?
The camera control is what it is. It works the same as the RE5 one. In any case, stuff like that is already under work. We'll see if the next version's cam system is better...
-Cloth damage system?
A cloth damage system is in the works already.
FEATURES
-Will it feature voices?
This is a feature we'd like to have. But currently we can't afford it. If you look at the goals here in Patreon, you'll see the priorities. Hopefully, we'll be able to have voices in the future, thanks to your support!
-More outfits for characters?
About stuff like more outfits it does depends a lot on the sucess of the game.
-Will it feature a Cheat Menu?
It's possible but not a priority.
-Will it feature a Menu/Special Room/Gallery to see the animations?
Same as above. It's possible but not a priority.
SUPPORT
-The current PCs and the support
Ok, let me first remind you that the game was, is and will forever be FREE. That will not change. But that doesn't mean we don't need support. We need it a lot. Not only for Bioasshard but for all of our other projects.
This said, I must admit that we maybe mislead people to think that all we need to complete Bioasshard is just new hardware. And that's not true. Of course, new hardwares are a very important step to it but not the only one. These are our current "workstations":
This one is the where the development takes place:
- AMD FX-4100 Quad-core @3.59 GHz
- 8Gb RAM
- AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series (6738) 1024 Mb GDDR5
And this one is the other one. This one can't even install/run UE4 (let alone testing the game):
- Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 @2.40GHz
- 4Gb RAM
- nVidia GeForce GT 610
You can see why we focused so much on the PC problems. But just wanted to clarify that we need your support for much more than just that.
TECH
-The game lags a lot!
We're working on this. Optimization is like a very high priority task on the list for the next updates. We'll try our bests with what we have right now (those specs mentioned above). Definitely we'll try to make something with the water shader too.
LEGAL
-The risk to get a C&D Letter...
We've some things on mind to avoid that 'risk' as much as possible. Maybe the next update will include some of these changes.
In any case, this problem will be present allways if you work on fangames.

Right where the dogs are there's a panel to insert the four plates (close to where the Sewer Key was in the Mission 1). Remember you can watch the play-through to see exactly what to do. kinda same question here i have all 4 plates but the green diamond dosen shine and i cant finish the mission ?

Hey, yeah, that's a lot nicer ^^ (besides two weeks ago the public release wasn't out and he's not even a patron, so you can guess what I mean) With circular plates you mean the sewer ones? If that so: -The enemy to your left when you enter from the exterior area. Kill him to get it -Look to the ceiling where the goal is, you have to shoot it -In top of a metal can right in front of you when you jump down to where the cerberus are -In the table where the handgun was in Mission 1 Hope this helps

I hope the preg/birth feature gets implemented. That's what I was hoping for when I decided to help fund this. I've played to many great projects that could have been much better just with that extra add on and they disregard it. Just what I'm into. Can't help it.
