So, we have a treadmill here, and the Switch is a perfect thing to play while you’re just mindlessly power-walking on steep inclines. The separated joy-cons are even great for swinging your arms around while playing! But unfortunately, I kinda ran out of things to play for a bit. JRPGs are pretty great to do on a treadmill, since the static cameras and menu-based gameplay means you don’t need to 100% focus on your sick gaming skills to make progress, but I’ve beaten all of my JRPGs. Animal Crossing would be the go-to for when I had nothing else, but with so little content in New Leaf, it quickly grew boring. And being bored on hour-long treadmill hikes ends up making you dread it.
Then the DLC came out for Animal Crossing, and I gotta tell you, I don’t think I’m ever gonna need another game again. Holy shit, there’s so much to do now. I’m gonna get fucking JACKED making these hamster houses. It’s a good thing there’s a cooking system now, because my abs are gonna shred cheese. I seriously can’t wait for tomorrow just so I can hit the treadmill and build a toilet room. I’m incentivizing myself to work out every day just so I can do more Animal Crossing.
Let me know if you got good turnip prices, I got a million in stalks to offload now.
