In the trivia for episode 57, it says Goku breaks the 4ᵀᴴ wall by “waving goodbye to the viewers” but that’s not how I interrupted that scene at all… to me, he was “waving goodbye 👋” to the gravity machine. Because he thinks to himself about how he can now to start training at 100x gravity, looks over at the machine as it says 1g and then says/thinks “but first, I’ll get something to eat” and gets all excited & giddy as he heads downstairs to eat and turns back to 👋 goodbye at the GRAVITY MACHINE… not the audience. Lol I know this is beyond irrelevant and it doesn’t matter at all but I still felt the need to add my input nonetheless.

I think the chat did get ahead of themselves tbh but I’m glad it was explained more (be the story) in this episode 👏 if only people had patience lol but I think they knew the answer in their head and they just forgot it gets explained by the anime. They only had to wait a bit.

there are two things that make me laugh when I watch DBZ. Vegeta being cocky and acting like the king of the universe, and Vegeta reacting to his ego being destroyed by someone being stronger lol

I love your reactions, watch DBZ again but in Japanese it's excellent, I can understand some jokes and situations that I didn't understand when it was dubbed into my language. I hope the chat didn't spoil you because in these episodes, it is understood why Vegeta wants to be immoral, despite Frieza being 30 or 40 times stronger than Vegeta, Vegeta would become stronger every time he would have been defeated to the point of being stronger than Frieza.

ahh I'm happy to hear that! I like him too! He's "playing" the role he was meant to be imo! Obviously not everyone is going to be entertained in the same way, but we are entertained, after all :)
