Yeah I imagine having a family history of aneurysms would be a red flag for them. As far as i know there is not history of that in mine. They were intractable though yeah, were almost constant for a month with little down time between them. I have slight aches sometimes now but nothing to the level I had before, hoping this is the worse it'll get going forward and taking care to manage stress which isn't easy these days lol

Yeah, it's gonna be really doctor-dependent; I'm from the UK and mum reportedly had an easier time getting one when she needed one by bringing up a family history of brain aneurysms, but I live in Australia and just the mention of that possibility had my doctor booking me in for one. Different medical systems, I guess :shrug: I'm so glad they've subsided for the minute! Mine are mostly stress-triggered, but we've found some decent medication routines (and weighted eyemasks) that mean they trigger less often and are easier to deal with. It's a hell of a journey to figure out & kill the bastards. Yours sound like they're intractable as well, right? (as in, didn't piss off for days) The long ones are the WORST.

Glad you dig the map, thank you! I'll have to talk to my doc more about that, I'm not sure how easy or hard it is to push for an MRI in the uk. The migraines actually subsided a lot, almost completely after I went to the hospital and also had the eye test the next day which does suggest it was stress related more than anything though, fingers crossed lol.

Migraines are horrible, I'm so sorry that you have to deal with them! I've had them for over a decade and still get blindsided by the bastards at times. This is a gorgeous map, and I have some very fun ideas on how to land my players here! (Also, if you haven't yet had an MRI done, please push for one. When I started getting migraines, we had to fight for one to be done because whilst most of the scary causes were ruled out, they didn't think it was worth checking for the most serious. It's probably nothing to worry about, but - better safe than sorry.)

Thank you, I'm so glad its churning those ideas and questions for you :D And thank you for the kind words, truly. I didn't even realise I was stressed enough for it to manifest like that, I thought I was doing ok (assuming it IS stress related ofc). It hasn't been so bad since I talked to the doctor and also got an eye test so I think knowing that it probably isn't something serious actually helped as I'm not so anxious about it anymore. Interesting how that works.
