v.0.21 Progress report (III)

This week has been strange. I am not feeling well, neither in health nor mentally.
My mother is in the hospital. She has been fighting for her life for a couple of days. I just got back from the hospital after spending the last 14 hours there. She is unconscious and not suffering. That's the part that is affecting me mentally. My brother is with her now and I returned home to get some rest before going back to the hospital.
On a physical level, I have had persistent pain in my kidneys since Tuesday. I was going to go to the hospital on Friday to have it looked at, but with what has happened with my mother, I have postponed it.
I don't know how much all this will affect the update, but I'm sure it will. Sorry, but like for the MC, for me family comes first.
Well, having told my sorrows, let's get down to the important stuff, what did I do this week?
With the lingering pain, I wasn't in the mood to write the scene that continues the teaser from the last update. I tried, but I couldn't. So I put that scene on hold and wrote the next five scenes, which were relatively short and didn't require me to be in a particular state of mind. 4,876 words between the five scenes (they will be ~5,200 once translated). Between them, they have 370 renders and I've started doing them, I'm about 55 done.
I just wrote this and I feel like I've been procrastinating all week. I assure you that I have tried to get more work done, but sometimes it doesn't come out or can't be done.
And that's all, folks. It has taken me almost an hour and a half to write this. I'm going to get some sleep.

Keep your fluid levels up. That may help with the kidney issues. Rest is important as well. It is difficult as your parents age. I have been there before. Let them know you love them whether you think they can hear you or not. It matters.

Be there for your family but don't postpone your own wellbeing. You don't need to replace your mom in that bed when she comes out of the other side of what she is going through. I hope for a speedy recovery for you and your mother, take the time you need.

that could be kidney stones with the pain you said you have.i had that 3 times and the pain is not funny.you should go get that sorted and go take care of your mom the rest is not so important. and don´t wait to long with your health that could backfire if you ignore that.i understand why,but that will not help you if you ignore your own health.

As always thank you for the progress report. Even if you had done nothing, this would be alright. You know what is coming. 😆 take all the time you need. Family is the most Important thing in life. Look after yourself and your mother. You are one of the best AVN creator i know. And so it will be perfectly fine, for us to wait until everything is settled.

I know it shouldn't be necessary, but don't worry about any Game-Update right now! First get better yourself and im crossing my Fingers that your Mom will get better soon too - as you said yourself - Family always comes first! You can never get back the Time you didn't spend with them, so be with your Mother as much and long as needed and take care of yourself too!
