There are 3 different ways to heal that have been introduced in this show: 1. Healing Potion (the Elixier), 2. Divine Magic Healing and 3. Nature based Magic Healing. Keyleth was saved with the same type of healing that saved Cassandra. It used a mix of natrual componments mixed with magic. In Cassandra's case it was Keyleth's magic, in Keyleth's case it was Scanlan's magic. They couldn't use divine magic because Pike wasn't there and they wasted the Elexier in the radius of the Anti-magic orb.

It might be a good time to go back and look at the scenes in Krieg's manor/lair now. There's a mural on the floor in the portal room, and also four crystals that Keyleth looks at, and one of them reflects a dragons eye. I honestly have no idea how they're going to adapt things going forward. The Briarwood arc was relatively simple, but this next arc is massive and takes place over so much ground, covers things that haven't even been introduced yet because the show skipped over the initial 20 or so episodes of the livestream. I'm sure they'll pull it off though. It's going to be interesting to see how they go about it. For some clarity, the briarwood arc is roughly fifteen episode. I think it's 24-38. This next arc lasted 46 episodes, 39-84. So yeah, I can't imagine it'll be condensed into one season.

Just in case you didn't catch it: the reason Pike's Astral Projection stopped working was because of the Antimagic field that orb was producing.
