I recognize the walking stick from my time as a nude model to assist in holding a pose that would be difficult to hold without something to help you balance. Seriously, keeping the dangly bits hidden by holding a leg in an unnatural position requires help sometimes.

My head cannon is that Sydney's dad actually can't remember the pube situation from back then, and so just changes the story every time. What Sydney's MOM thinks of that is left as an exercise for the reader.
