My guess is, bcs that's how he can make more money probably. Since that game is not part of the patreon package, he can showcase it in streams and post about it so people would like to try it and buy it. While ToT can be kept waiting bcs the patreon subs will keep going anyway.

Question, why is Koda doing another side project that you abandoned? So far he has to complete Floor 7, integrate floor 8, there is crow and swan part 3 as well and instead of getting those complete first he is messing with a sentai game on unity. The guy needs to learn project management.

Rose is really cool. I like the idea that she has some sort of emotional connection with the protagonist but also wants the power of being one of the Girls of the tower, and has done alot of evil. Cant wait to see the routes in this one.
