I was in the middle of a move like a week out post-FFS and pulled at least a couple all-nighters while recovering because I had to draft a write up explaining how my previous employer screwed me over. I'm glad that I still turned out ok despite not being able to get the rest that my surgeon prescribed. All that's to say, best to rest and recover. I don't recall my post-surgical recovery period fondly in the slightest, because of all the things I had to do things that my surgeon would have chewed me out about. No reason to make the experience more unpleasant than it is unless the universe demands otherwise.
