Brilliant. Another fantastic tutorial and insight into the creative process. Would love to see some examples of how you guys would use a sampled drum break, no doubt you would have a unique slant and very creative way of mangling & incorporating breaks into a production.

Guys, this is brilliant, I learned quite a few new techniques through this that I'm implementing as we speak. Honestly more than anything I think I just really enjoy watching your workflow and seeing how you can attain so much in such a short space of time and really get started on a track. How you made the bass sounds and left them so changeable is really amazing because it leaves so much room to fiddle around later and I work best with that openness. Much love, keep 'em coming, anything to do with drums and bass sound is completely my jam. UNLESS you have ever worked with Kontakt? Would love a deep dive into a library or two... I use Balkan Ethnic Orchestra and India and Ethnic World 6 daily.

Hey for some reason this video only let me play it once. The rest of the videos still work and my membership is still active. Not sure if it is something on my end but my internet is fine and I checked on multiple devices.

thanks for the info. It's definitely not playing at the highest quality. My connection is really good since I switched to optic fibre and I am connected via ethernet cable not wireless. Wouldn't stop me from watching the video but for example the fonts in Ableton become blurry if not watched at 1040 or above. Not a problem with the older vids.

something is up with this video...it doesn't have the controls for quality of video. When I go to the others they do but this seems to be on automatic and playing blurry. I have a optic fibre connection so I would like to play it at the highest quality possible but for some reason the control button is not present.

This is so helpful! It really clarifies your approach to tracks like Cosmic Tuba where the drums are really heavy and impactful. As an aside, I would love to see some more content on your effects racks. I understand it's a personal workflow thing, but I've found stuff like the High/Low Split and Valhalla Wet/Dry super valuable for my own progress, so thank you!
