They’re separate as far as I know! Patreon offers more podcast material, whereas I *think* YouTube is preferable if you follow Dr. Honda for more of his pop culture / reality show content.

Can anyone tell me if being a patron is the same as your u- tube membership or are they different Is it necessary to sign up and pay for both memberships separately to watch and listen to content?

nice! never thought about it being possibly closely related to addiction, but that makes perfect sense. i also think oftentimes it begins in emotionally or otherwise neglectful childhood as maladaptive daydreaming. the deli story is eerie lol. maybe kirk met his wife from another dimension

Listening at the 14 minute mark (Kirk’s possible limerence with a deli customer) and yep, that’s how it has been for me with my LO. It’s like they are special in some unique way and I just have to stare at them and take every word and every movement in, even if I don’t see anything happen for us romantically/sexually. Have this person orbit you for 5 years and that’s five years of being obsessed with a person in a very strange way :)
