Welcome back for another Gooeycandy Newsletter, where you get up to date with ALL things gooeycandy! Let's dive right in!
π¨ Art & Project Progress:
New Hands On!: I've been hashing out a bit more of the new Hands On UI, adding small animations and whatnot to breathe life into things. Check out that little trophy in the corner... wonder what that's for...
As I mentioned before, my programmer got an opportunity he can't turn down, so he's gonna help a bit more with the first title, but I'll soon need to find someone new! If you know anyone who is skilled at Unity/working with 2D assets and may be interested, send them this application please!!
Alongside the UI, I'm currently working on the body and clothing assets for Candy. He's looking REALLY damn cute right now aaaaaaa, I'm putting so much love into this game you guys are gonna dig it I promise!!
Hope you guys are ok with me spoiling aspects of the game before release! If not, maybe I'll make a spoiler warning section of the newsletter... lemme know if you would want me to do that!
Best Of Gooeycandy 2018-2024 Art Book: Here's a WIP for the cover for the art book! This book will have full color images of my personal favorite & most popular works from all my years as gooeycandy so far, as well as a few surprises! Putting it together has been a trip down memory lane!!

Hands On, the "Best Of" art book and the next Poke-Man card are still my main focuses, as well as creating new merch for Barapalooza!

What's your biggest non-sexual turn on?
I want to lean into the other aspects of sexy this year. Mine would have to be humor, hands down. Making me belly laugh gets you a one way ticket into my bedroom tbh.
This section focuses on my personal life & stories, so if that's not your cup of tea, feel free to skip this segment!
So it's been a weird start to the year. My doctor doubled one of my meds and it's made me into a zombie. I hardly remember what I'm doing as I'm doing it, and only a few times in a day do I truly feel present. Hasn't stopped me from working like a horse tho. I just don't remember I'm doing it. Kind of like in the show Severance. (great show definitely check it out if you haven't yet!!)
Here's a reminder to live in the moment, cause it's always fleeting!! (Don't worry we adjusted the meds back down, so hopefully I will feel normal again soon!)
On the brighter side of things, me and my ex-turned-situationship (it's healthy I swear!!!!) deep cleaned and organized my room together + got a new dresser and put up this rad painting of a dog that I love. I feel like I'm living in a fancy hotel room now!!
Since this might as well be an advice column: a clean and organized room that fits your vibes does wonders for your mental health, I highly recommend taking a few hours and just making your living space feel more like a home. Put something on the wall. Buy a plant. Get a funky colorful light. Trust me.
