Welcome back for another Gooeycandy Newsletter, where you get up to date with ALL things gooeycandy! Let's dive right in!
There's some new things in my shop! Check it out!
Bowser Button & Add-On: The Bowser button from last newsletter is finally here! This button has an add-on button that adds some girth! 👀 Put them together for extra spicy occasions!
Posters: Posters are finally here! I think I have finally figured out how to ship these bad boys correctly! They're on really nice glossy film that almost feels like plastic, it's COOL! Testing the waters so there are only a few of each design! I picked what I consider 5 fan favorites to start with!
Oak Keychain & Bowser Sticker: Naturally, there's a transparent sticker version of the Bowser design too! As for the Oak, these keychains are from last year but they came with red keyrings so I finally got around to replacing them with this cute green!
Hot Trash: The weirdly popular "Hot Trash" is back! They're random assortments of miscuts and misprints from my shop. If you like dumpster diving, maybe this is for you?

🎨 Art & Project Progress:
Project "BRO": Two weeks ago I came up with an idea and started work on this VERY VERY hype new project. It's still a bit too early to reveal much, but I promise to enlighten you all VERY SOON. This concept has engulfed my brain and I'm insanely hype to share more info with you guys, but for now, I'll simply give you a small sneak peek!
New Hands On Progress!: Hands On took the back seat this week as I was back home for a family birthday and it was hard to work on it, BUT, my lovely programmer is killing it as usual, so here's an update on some expression work!
As I mentioned before, my programmer got an opportunity he can't turn down, so he's gonna help a bit more with the first title, but I'll soon need to find someone new! If you know anyone who is skilled at Unity/working with 2D assets and may be interested, send them this application please!! I’ll likely be reaching out soon!
🔎 Current Focuses:
Hands On! will be a main priority until this first new title is complete, so continue to expect updates on that! The plan is to use this first game to gauge interest to launch a Kickstarter for the next couple of titles! So, I'm definitely trying to make this one the best it can be!
The "Best Of" art book is what I'm working on whenever I have downtime/don't feel like drawing. So it's moving slow but steady!
The Poke-Man card for Milo is next up, but its not the priority right now, so it may take a bit before you see progress on it!
Finally.... Project "BRO". Some time is being put towards that. The progress on that is slowly building...

Uhhhhhh... I don't even know where to begin. My mania is at an all time high, my disassociation is too (gee, I'm sharing a little too much info, haha). Weirdly enough, I'm pretty happy lately? I'm seeing a new doctor soon, so hopefully I can feel like myself again, but in the meantime, I'm hanging in there!
DnD campaign is fun, dodgeball is going well, ended kickball in 2nd to last place (lol), friends got married, enjoying being back at the gym, etc, etc. A LOT going on!!
So I guess my advice this week is... take a break. Go for a walk and bring some water. Get off your phone for a bit! (after reading the rest of this newsletter of course!) AND GO PLAY HELLO KITTY ISLAND ADVENTURE 🔫
🎥 NOW WATCHING: Severance, Traitors US
Severance: HELLO??! This show is insane. The Gemma centric episode was some of the best television I've ever seen. These last few episodes are gonna break me...
Traitors US: DANIELLE IS DRIVING ME INSAAAAAAAAAAANNEEEEEE. I'm an episode behind so no spoilers but (Carolyn Voice) "AGGGGGHHHHHH Danielleeeee!". I for real need Gabby to take the money home at this point. Finale next week, SEND GABBY YOUR ENERGY.

Did you watch The Traitors UK show Uncloaked too? It was running right after it. I enjoyed the gossip of the visitors and banished team members of the show. 😎

Haha I actually watch the UK version and love it too. Claudia Winkleman is so wonderful! I like both shows for d9fferent reasons, as someone who watches a lot of these shows, I enjoy a show that puts them all together in one, even if it is a lot of egos! I'm caught up now, just the finale left

Living in Europe, I am watching The Traitors US on BBC, and compare it with the German and British version. The British was the best, because it was any British person, no prom or any wannabe. In Germany and US it’s these B VIPs, these wannabes, which make it less enjoyable. Especially the US show is full of egos which ruin the whole concept. That’s why the traitors hunt and kill each other. How did Boston Rob say in the turret? „It’s a disaster!“ Yes, and it was created by him. But he would never see that. He’s out, and I am more than happy about that (even though I think he looks hot). The only way to get an idea about the candidates is the shows they have been on, as I know some of these shows. But still, The Traitors US lacks joy due to the egoism going on nonstop. I don’t know Danielle or understand why she wanted to get rid of Carolyn, but before Boston Rob was in, these girls pulled on one rope. Suddenly they don’t do it anymore. And, asDanielle thinks strategically, it’s not hard to see which of the two will survive. Yes, I am still watching it and will to the final. But I am looking forward to the next season of the British show, which runs in the same Scottish castle and uses the same games as the US version. That’s what makes the comparison even easier. Only the host is different, an ice cold British tv presenter C Winkleman, no overdressed A Cummings, which tries to spice up the show with his pseudo eccentric approach. Both are mysterious in their speeches, but C Winkleman is better. Any version of the show is absolutely fascinating and forces me to watch it, but each is on a different level. I hope my words were helpful and did not contain any spoilers. Which episode are you at?

Sadly I can't really go to a gym due to my circumstances, but thank you sweetie ❤️ I've been talking with other guys online about what I've been doing everyday but I just kinda fell off it. I appreciate the advice though, it's always good to have somebody to hold you accountable ❤️

2025 feels so ick and nasty, I'm hoping things get even better for you in all areas of life soon, yee. I myself am trying to get out of a stagnant life and hope to be active physically/socially. Also in the case of posters, I think nsfw ones would be awesome for the future. Also my mind gravitates toward the idea of the Archie piece, the Shane 2020 piece, and also the new Professor Birch piece as potential poster ideas cuz i love them a ton lol, but those are just ideas I can think of. But the poster idea is so cool, i heart physical media lol

I would say the Smash Bros Lockeroom one may be a good piece as a poster or the Leon x Raihan piece. It's good to give yourself break after working a lot. Always remember to have them
