New Content Incoming, Just Give Me a Bit to Get Right

Yes, me writing a seething, barely restrained bundle of emotions that's set off by violations of worker's rights (or really any violation of rights) is an allegory to explain what it's like to still sometimes hear the voices of toxic bosses you no longer work for, waking you with barked orders just as you fall asleep. Van's a character who can't stop himself from doing what he does; I'm a dude who has a couple of times needed to ask other people to break my grip on a physical object, because my body had forgotten how to in the moment.
So yeah, I went nose to grindstone, and then on top of that? Dental issues cropped up, my least favorite kind of issue to have. Well, after the emotional ones, anyway. So just give me another day or two to rage across a simulated post-apocalypse in order to unwind this ball of stress, and in return, I will trade you:

Because that's a bunch of stuff that's nearly complete and ready to show. All I need is a couple days to convince myself that no, I don't sleep five hours a night and wake up at 8am, and that my natural state is "vaguely stressed if sober," not "human equivalent of a buzzing fluorescent light tube even while baked."
And look, right on cue, I'm beginning to destress writing this. One half of my brain is snickering at the other half- don't ever develop a complex about your work ethic, folks, this is just unreasonable and stupid.

Some days when you don't cross the '100%' line for something it can feel like you didn't do anything, even when you pushed so many things closer to that line. Take your time, rest, and make the thing that satisfies you.
