Even though the line from the Body Improvement Club was very obvious, I would also like to point of mob's "main character" line mirrors Hanazawa, the first time he was introduced. He also makes reference to a few of the things Reigen has taught him. All the homies had an indirect influence in this fight and we love to see it.

THIS! I was hoping to see it in the anime, it would have been hype with those full screen flashes. It would have also helped people understand the flow of the fight more, and how Mob continued to keep going to the end. They should have at least left in the 100% Kindness that he ended the fight with.

If Mob did unleash all of his strength I think Serizawa would get annihilated. Yes he's strong but we've seen what Mob is capable of and he's always been holding back because he doesn't wanna kill people. Love this episode and loved your reaction. Talk no jutsu is the way to go. Everyone that Mob has faced has either turned to be better or at least taken his words of wisdom to the heart. That's why Mob is such a great person. Hyped for season 3. This show is goated

In the manga during the fight with the boss Mob was going through multiple 100% emotions. 100% ecstasy, 100% sadness, courage, etc. You could only really tell here based off his facial expressions and eyes.

I love how when Mob faces these powerful ESPers, the thing that is driving their selfish pursuits is always their sole reliance on their powers and the inability to see value in the people around them. Then their power starts taking over at some point and just feeds off of their pride. But when they meet Mob, who has an insane amount of power for an ESPer but never lost his ability to see the value in the people around him, it winds up shifting their whole perspective. Always brings me back to episode 5 of this season. That people can change, and we also have the power to change others 🥲

I believe this is the last episode of this season. The other one is an OVA which i plan to watch. I enjoyed this last episode, but I'm still wondering what's next. I like Jack's theory that maybe Mob will be his own foil in the next season? It'd be cool to focus on him getting better control of his emotions. I'm excited to start the next season!

HI GEKS!! PLEASE WATCH OVA NEXT (this might be the extra episode you thought this season had) The First Spirits and Such Company Trip - A Journey that Mends and Heals the Heart and Soul Though this wasn't in the original canon, the manga author wrote this OVA and it was animated as an original story taking place after Season II. I think it's great for getting used to the new dynamic at Reigen's office, and I haven't heard of a single watcher that didn't enjoy it. Glad you guys loved S2 as much as we did. :)

The moment after the mid card is always jarring, it really gives the audience the same feeling Mob is feeling. Confusion and unbalance. Then by the end all the confusion is gone, it’s really great!

This was the last episode of the season! The extra ep is probably the OVA, which is a new episode that wasn’t in the manga (but was made with the help of the author!) so it’s its own thing. It’s a very good middle ep to season 2 and 3 though, with some great Serizawa development!

S1 9/10 very good on rewatch, s2 10/10 peak. Claw boss handshake after being taken in, Shimazaki aura farm vs everyone and mob + reigen reunion were my fav moments of the season.

Mob really has a way with resonating with people and bringing back the light to others. He's a healer and nurturer. That's why I love him. 🥰 Gosh, I really love this show so freaking much.
