Rated's Back!
As you can probably tell from the wonderful banner art, Rated is back and working happily on TC again! She's already blasted through various CGs that will be included in this month's update (we'll have some previews below).
Thanks so much for all the love and support you've given her over the past week while she was gone. It's really helped and she's really appreciated it!
Character Overhaul
Here's a new preview of the art direction we're going to be aiming for with our new character artist! He's going to be doing all the animations for this himself in Spine and we're waiting on an idle animation right now to test the workflow of implementing Spine animations into the game and having them play nicely with our character controllers.
Environment Overhaul
Here's a quick example of what we're going to be aiming for with our environment overhaul with another new artist! The main inspiration is going to be the Studio Ghibli art style at least for the exteriors.
Cute Chibi!
These aren't going to be making it into the game itself, but we're commissioning STOAN for these because they're just so damn cute! We'll be using them for banners and Patreon art for tier images and such!
Pride Month
As you can see, we've done some fun stuff for LGBT pride month! We'll be keeping the changes on the Patreon page until the month is over, and we've even commissioned Rated to do an adorable pinup of Jenna and Karen specifically to celebrate. Hope you all enjoy the cute lesbian art this month. ♥
Lesbian Art
I promise we didn't plan this, but it just so happens that we're going to be including a lot of lesbian art this month to support the new story content. Good timing! Here's a preview.
Status
Thao has officially completed all the CG art for Rosas are Red!
The next step is to start overhauling the UI, then redo the code, edit the writing, and implement the CGs! Then we can start our launch campaign and start figuring out how to launch on Steam and other platforms! We're being very patient with this release, so bear with us!
We're all very excited to see what the game will look like when we're done, as I'm sure you are too!

Maybe exclude the toes for the chibi art style? I think the original preview art style of the R&D announcement fit the game theme better but the chibi style is pretty cute

That is good news! Welcome back Rated :) Also the chibi is incredibly cute :) I'm curious how the new character art is going to look in game. They definitely look a lot better than the old ones. Also thumbs up for supporting pride month ^^

Windows, Android, and Browser are going to be our platforms for the foreseeable future. We don't currently have plans for native Mac or Linux.
