Ian

Finally, Zac opened his Status Screen. There were no new titles or Orrrrrrrr? Plus, wasn't that the 6th layer rather than 5th? Major sublimation and all

The Lost Pages

Is there a chapter today?

Dro

Was that the same randomly appearing castle that Be'Zi (or whatever her name was) told him about? It was also supposed to be a cataclysmic heritage I think?

Russ

Are you mixing up Tavza and Vilari?

Sarah-Chris Joint

My word, just listening to book 13 - Zac about to take a dip in the Abyssal Pond - Tavza is telling him about the Omni Lords Trial - a randomly appearing ancient castle which is for those below C grade. Surely the bloke the Omni Tool is the man for the job. So many fun random side quests to think about

dithering

Zac is still a ways behind the other flamebears, hell even tavza is still stronger than him Iam not confident Zac is even top 10

Jeff McCulley

Oh yeah… Lastly, Zac manages to think of the implications of his actions on the Daedalian Court, but only thinks about the implications Catheya. You know, not Galau, or whomever his other Threadwinder is supposed to be. The people who are not only his own sealbearers, but his actual Imperial subjects. Indeed, the boyfriend/partner of his disciple, his protégée, Emily. Lol. Good lord, Zac, you’re supposed to be an Emperor who deeply cares about his people, and yet you suck this bad? Thinking with the wrong head again? I swear something screwy is going on there, and TFD is throwing us (yet) another huge red flag! After all, the LAST one was what Tavza literally baldly told Zac straight to his face! Not that long ago, practically the moment that they got back together here. Sigh. Well, we’ll see. So many moving pieces. Thanks, TFD!

Anyone else notice that Vilari’s vision of the gondola trip was the actual Peregrine Lake? I expect another POV from Vilari, as she seems to have stumbled on a fight. Could we finally be meeting the Endemire Sage’s granddaughter? I admit, I read “Why did they sound so much like the rings of a pewter staff?” Coming after the sentence about leaves, I found myself wondering for a couple of hours why someone would have put rings on a pewter staff. Then it struck me. The “rings” were the sound of a pewter staff striking something. Like a battle. Which immediately switched the question to, “Why the f*** would anyone have a staff made of pewter?” Immediately followed by, “And why the f***would they be fighting with a staff made of a metal known for its softness? And how in the world would Vilari have heard that before, enough to recognize the sound?!!” Lol. Guess we’ll find out Monday! Hoping for a short series of POV’s before jumping back to HZac, then DZac.

Chapter 1,204

Abdilatif Jama

Can anybody tell me the first chapter of book 15

John

It’d be cool if Zac stumbles onto some Flamebearers in the middle of their own confrontation, who also happen to be holding some of his people. I’d parallel the scene to the conclusion of the Ensolus treaty summit when we get POV’s of all the new characters feeling the absolute Aura coming off him in waves. I want Zac to flex on these fools 💪🏻

Sonnett Washington

I wonder if the sangha and Qriz’Ul are allies.

Omiso

Zac mentioned he can use the Void Varja Sublimation and the Nine Reincarnation Manual until Autarchy (he didn't say how far into B grade though). As for how fast Zac will advance through the grades will depend on how many resources and holy lands he can get into. Remember the second stage of the Nine Reincarnation Manual would've taken him 100 years if he hadn't supercharged his cultivation in the Twilight Ascent and the same was true to the Third stage but he manage to get into Mount Illumination and the Calamity Zone plus the chaos mote and remnants also helped him a lot. There are some limits though, for the 4th stage of the Nine Reincarnation Manual and the Void Varja Sublimation you need to be at least early D grade to practice it (the core is needed to provide the vast amounts of energy required for advancement) some of the later stages of both manuals might require C or even B grade to complete but there has been no mentioned about it so far.

Tommy

He was running out of lifespan in D grade. He was a bum picking on kids. Unless he somehow managed to breakthrough to C grade he don’t wanna see Zac.

Sonnett Washington

Does anyone know what happened to the great redeemer? Was that arc closed?

dithering

I don't think another break through in his soul will allow him to make dao arrays like the other heavens chosen, he needs to create the thousand axe chapter he talked about back in book 13 not only should that allow him to use dao arrays (if I remember right) but it should also elavete and complete his technique and making it into a true peak quality technique (not talking about going from late integration to true intergation)

Joshua Little

Thanks for the chapter.

Sean

How many stages are there in his body tempering? Nine right? So I’m guessing we don’t see him get to the sixth stage until after monarchy in order to save room for him to improve that stuff in the later grades? Especially considering the fact that it was so difficult to even complete this stage.

Jonas Lemke

I'm pretty sure that it was hinted that Buddha is a corpse that has been around for multiple eras, it in itself is an eternal heritage so I dont think it'd be likely that the LE/ultom is using its soul core

Michael Dugan

If they target Catheya or Vilari or Johanna that is when they face the full wrath of the Deviant Asura. His wife and daughter and most loyal follower.

Jeff McCulley

If by “seducing” you mean “writing horrible poems and mailing them off to some poor woman”, then, yes.

Omiso

Do remember that the rest of the Trial Takers are also getting access to opportunities to grow just like Zac. Just take a look at the fight vs Kaltosa Lu and think there are more dangerous opponents out there.

Jeff McCulley

I’m pretty sure there are multiple sangha factions, either multiple agendas. The one who was going to interfere with Zac in the Imperial graveyard, when they summoned the Bell, decided he was okay after getting a good look at him.

Tom C

The baldies are eventually gonna get a full-on stomping if they mess with Zac’s team / friends / family. Might not be soon, but eventually! TFTC!

M💬

So crazy thought do we think supremacy that that the Abbot is reincarnated from was on the opposing side of the main Sangha faction…. Tbh he seems like the only decent monk so far and he’s shown true sincerity to Zac nd his allies “Thea”

louis

Zac has been upgrading all different aspects of his cultivation one after the other since the trial began. First his "sort of cultivation manual" by merging his different manuals, then one weapon, then his soul, his daos of life and death, now his life constitution... That leaves Verun, death constitution, Dao of conflict, and he's already hinted to his soul and bloodline. Now the question is if it's going to happen by the end of the trial, which seems likely, and I know the other candidates are finding opportunities too but I'm not sure they can match such a pace of powering up... Zac was one of the "weak" flamebarer at the start of the trial but now it looks like that's going to make some nice little fights for us to enjoy by the end of it.

Nick Pincus

Could this soul core she is walking on be Buddha?

MacMahon Wenzl

Hahaha, my thoughts exactly. I read that and though "oh, my precious little child, how wrong can you be"

Omiso

Vilary almost lost her hair right there and then. Still is surprising the Sangha are advancing so much, not only is Emir, Thea and some rogue monks actively moving against them, they seems to be moving faster than all the other factions. The Ancient Primordial doesn't seems to be doing much (probably munching on that Insect Princess, hopefully Rhubat got away in time). Yselio is being a sneaky git. Katosa Lu is probably seducing some girl he found interesting. Iz is just there for the fun.

Timothy Dana

Ha ha that’s so funny. Your comment didn’t even pop up until now. Lol same

Timothy Dana

“Zac putting his thumb on the scale didn’t matter in the grand scheme of things.” Who does he thinks he’s fooling?

Lex Luther S

Well well well, seems zac is poised to make a breakthrough with his soul, at least I hope so. The Three fates soul is undoubtedly strong, as he got a pretty good score for the soul trial during the Templar test arc but it's time to move on to bigger and better things. What form his soul will take is unknown but here's hoping it'll allow zac to go from "rather middling" accomplishments in dao control to "huh, you've got a bit of talent kid" accomplishments in dao control. Maybe encountering a fee of those Edolons' wouldn't be so bad. Take out a hostile and bag some tasty soul nurturing treasures to boot. Win win. Welp, Zac fucked big time with the sanghas' plans so it seems one of those bald bastards are now aiming for vilari. As long as its not the flamebearer for the sangha, she has a chance of getting away but ohhh boy if she does get brought down and captured, then just like that insectoid princess will experience, chaos will happily bring its wrath upon you. And with his current gains, even the other flamebearers would experience difficulty bringing zac down. Especially if he can evolve his soul and earthly dao of defiant war as well as verun and haro as they're still early D grade.

First chapter fully caught up. 1375 chapters in a row.

“Zac putting his thumb on the scale didn’t matter in the grand scheme of things.” Why do I feel like this is the Lack Of Self Awareness Comment of the Year?
