Dark Oak nearly done

yup, Dark Oak should be done soon, this picture shows off the color shifting filament I used to make him, the torso, head, shoulder, and hip pads are all the same color, but they shift from a purple to blue shade depending on which angle the light hits it.

Nazo hi-rez

I've made Nazo a few times in the past, but this is the first time I've done him in 4 inch scale. Of course he's based on the Nazo Unleashed animation made by Chakra-X

All of Oak's parts printed up

Steakosaurus was finally able to properly resize the shoulder and hip armor so I officially have all the parts I need to make Dark Oak! Now all that's left is to paint him and make the shoulder cape thingies

Darkspine Sonic hi-rez

Painting those white stripes on the top spines is still a massive pain, but at least I was able to use the original shoes since this one doesn't have questionably canon toes.

There we go, a TMNT OC completed by me. Being made from a 6 inch Fortnite figure she's a bit tall compared to most Ninja Turtle figures, (see how she's towering over Alopex here) but hey, the turtles are usually short in canon so it works out.

remember when I made my first Surge figure? Well the parts for this guy were made at the same time and he's been waiting to be finished for this entire time, but Surge finally has her little buddy.

Progress on Chaos XP's commission

I combined my dry brush and air brush to get this smooth white body and pink gradient effect, all that's left now are the limbs, but this triple layer paint technique takes a little longer than usual.

Heavy and Bomb complete

The only parts of this set that I didn't make myself are Heavy's hands, which came off a 4 inch Knuckles. I just made these on a whim to see if I could actually just scratch build a Sonic character...it helps that these guys have the simplest character designs in the franchise.

Quick Heavy preview

So yeah, last night I was hit with a bout of manic creative energy and about an hour later I had this on tinkercad, still needs a little bit of refinement but hey, a SUPER under appreciated character from ancient Sonic canon needs a little love.

This is an unusually big commission, with 5 figures when I normally have a limit of two (he's a repeat commissioner and I've already made these characters before so I knew how to do it from the beginning)

Bean and Wave lego heads

Making Lego sized Sonic heads is surprisingly hard to do, since the details get so small, and if you make the peg hole too small the head can literally snap if half when you put it on the body. These are just parts I made for Mousse 187, who will paint them themself to make the customs.
