We've had little glimpses throughout the comic of the Lady's nests - she has several, but that's not important, she just has lots of stuff. Apparently all that collecting has been for the sake of Sette fandom.

Woof, that nest panel took an age to do. Terribly convenient that Sette fell right into it and Duane missed, surely affording our heroine a few precious minutes to herself before he climbs up. Piss off, plot crows, we all see through you and your "coincidences."

The little shot of baby Duane holding baby Mikaila was very fun to do. And then at the end, in case it's not clear, that's the line that Sette cut long ago, knotted whole again. Kinda creepy, I think! No escape.

The last time Sette and Duane were in the khert at the same time, it was Sette alone who encountered the odd mass of baby-shaped... creatures. Duane himself has never seen them. And Sette hasn't really missed them. They may be a pitiful sight, but they're just not right.

Drawing characters freely talking, breathing, and moving while underwater is so novel; I kept going back to it while in the khert. Sette didn't kill the squishes though, just split 'em back up a bit.

Pay attention to how quickly Sette adapts to her fantastical surroundings and how readily she starts moving through it all. Throw a squirrel into a tree and maybe it's not so weird how easily it climbs.
