I just express my opinions on what they've been doing :) The way I see it, you have a foundation that is bleeding cash, can't hold marketshare, and doesn't know where it's going, what to focus on, and what their priority should be, and they're spending time rebranding? I love Firefox, and I can't say thanks enough to Mozilla, but they're completely lost, right now, and in the process of fading into irrelevance, which is why I'm maybe too critical :) We're only harder on the things we love, I guess!

Yes, that was my gripe: not sure this rebranding is what they need. They'll live or die on features, not on a logo :/

Rebranding always feels like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. They don't know what else to do.

Not sure I understand the somewhat negative framing of anything Mozilla related as of late. Goes for a few other projects/entities as well. Could just be me misunderstanding the general French pastime of complaining ;) On the other hand, I didn't perceive this slight negativity bias earlier (months/years back). All in all, I have to say I am tremendously grateful for what Mozilla has done and is doing, and view the "missteps" as extremely minor, all things considered :-) Oh, and I enjoy everything you do enormously as well, don't misunderstand me - I'm just taking part in the complaining, it seems ;)

The brand refresh is smart for Mozilla to be honest, but they have a long way to go to draw in new users. They are in the unfavorable position of still trying to catch up in feature parity for Firefox versus adding something new and exciting. The days before the internet. Man Usenet and BBS. Good times.

Disagree with you on the value of moz://a doing a bit of rebranding to demonstrate their evolution. Lots of new services being offered that I plan to enjoy exploring. I'll be checking out the PineNote 64 as low distraction writing and e-book tool - seems to be filling a unique niche.
