Hell if I was a shifter I would visit the tiger enclosure at the local zoo, see the tiger to imprint on it and make my shifting form a tiger. That would be strong enough to maybe fight off vampires, certainly those 'werewolf' doggos. Maybe even let myself get turned into a vampire shifter, so I turn into a vampire tiger! Unstoppable!
