I guess we just have very different ideas on relationships , cause control never came up for me-in general. I honestly have no desire to control, but honesty is one of the dealbreaks for me

Although it's interesting that Trinity couldn't kill the deer. Perhaps his psychosis is purely based in his family trauma and he's not a natural psychopath? Psychopaths almost always start with killing animals which Dex did.

Everyone has secrets. Also he probably didn't think it was a big deal. Men tend to be more practical when it comes to what really matters I guess. Women tend to want to be able to control men and a man having his own private space outside the home maybe threatens that control a bit. I don't mean control in a Dr Evil sort of way but women are designed to want to control all aspects of their home/family environment to maximise survival of their offspring, it's basic evolutionary biology. Any cheating father of her kids threatens to draw the provider for their family away and destabilise the family security and wellbeing.

From a woman's POV it's not about the apartment for me. It's the fact he was lying, and keeping secrets. Relationships is all about honesty, and communication-to me, at least.

Why is it such a big deal if a man has an apartment on the side? If she thinks he's taking women there then she doesn't trust him and it's her problem if she has trust issues. Men need their own little space in a relationship. Besides if a man really wants to cheat then there's always motels/hotels or her place etc.
