This series was top notch from start to finish. All I'm hoping is that next season there's more scenes with infected but the fact they got so many actors from the game to be in this made it chef's kiss

I also love that they got so many people that played characters in the game, to be characters in the show!! Jeffrey Pierce, Tommy (Joel’s brother) Troy Baker, Joel Ashley Johnson, Ellie and Merle Dandridge, as Marlene. They all can act they fuckin ASSES off!! And it was almost like Ashley was passing the torch of being ‘Ellie’ to Bella. I just. Wow. And this is exactly how the game ended, too. Pedro, Bella, BRAVO!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Oh. My. Gosh. You mean to tell me that Ashley Johnson (the girl who played Ellie in the game) is Ellie’s 👏🏻 fucking 👏🏻 MOM 👏🏻in the tv show?!?! when I tell you the beauty of that. Omg. This show is just incredible and so respectful!! The game never did this!!! I am so here for this show!! They are not only paying such beautiful respect to the game (with some scenes and lines being directly pulled from the game) but as well as expanding on things that as someone who waited outside GameStop, at the midnight release? They are answering things I’ve always been curious about. Joel’s depth and character, meeting Ellie’s mom??? Oh my gosh. I can’t stop crying. I would of done the same thing. I’m saving my baby. I don’t know the world, but I know my baby. And honey? I’ll tear apart heaven and earth to save them. Wow. My feels, Auntie? Why they do this to us? Every week?
