The Mist (2007 Movie ) FULL REACTION
🕑 Added 2023-02-28 13:17:18 +0000 UTCAfter a powerful storm damages their Maine home, David Drayton (Thomas Jane) and his young son head into town to gather food and supplies. Soon afterward, a thick fog rolls in and engulfs the town, trapping the Draytons and others in the grocery store. Terror mounts as deadly creatures reveal themselves outside, but that may be nothing compared to the threat within, where a zealot (Marcia Gay Harden) calls for a sacrifice.

I think this is one of the most soul crushing endings i've ever seen, and one of the best. right up there with Se7en.

i'm glad there was no tornado. be careful.
Joe
RIGHT?! I never really realized that until I watched this as an adult. But I’m with y’all!! That was WAY too soon. I get that you were terrified of being torn apart, and after everything they went through? They would much rather die than be torn apart. I get that. HOWEVER!!! It was 2 minutes and help…HELP was there in 3 😐 like, y’all were ‘safe.’ Nothing knew you were there. You could of just crunched down and hid. Y’all so extra. Dayum. Lol
Joe
Right?! Alright Mrs, C….you go ahead and just Moses for us. I double bible dare you.

You were so right India! They'd been in the car stopped for 2 minutes, way to early to consider shooting everyone. If they waited it out, anything could've happened, the mist could clear, help could come (which it did)...
Aaron Barlow
Man I would've killed Carmody early on.
Aaron Barlow
I would've convinced the others that if she was really chosen by and protected by God she could walk in the mist unharmed, and get her to leave the store.

Actually India, the army guy was holding the knife properly, many knife fighters hold it that way, it's a stronger grip near the blade whereas holding it blade up means any twisting or yanking of the blade in the direction of the thumb can lead to being disarmed. Also a downward blade can be used to deflect cuts against the wrist, or a block any weapon if used properly blade flat to wrist.

"You scare people badly enough, you can get 'em to do anything, They'll turn to whoever promises a solution". Dan was right. A concept very relevant to the time we live in.
Joe
And Auntie? Your reaction to the ending? I felt that…I felt that on a spiritual level lol cuz same.
Joe
Oh, and the guy who wrote the book that this movie was based off of? His name is Stephen King, and the ending is different than what he wrote. So when he saw this?? Even HE was interviewed saying ‘Dayum. That was fucked up.’ And I ALWAYS thought that was funny lololol
Aaron Barlow
How annoying was it when the little dweeby, tubby store clerk feebly grabbed the axe and could barely swing it, completely missing while the more manly looking men stood back cowering. Man I would've had 3 tentacles chopped off by that time. I think the old lady Irene with the can of peas would've too.
Alyssa Dyson
"No doctor. No help. No...Neosporin" lmao 🤣
Joe
I HATE HER!!! So much!!!! Lol
Joe
This was one of those movies that after it’s over? It sticks with you. I still remember seeing this for the first time, YEARS ago…and I still am traumatized by it. Sheesh. What a movie. It goes from 0-100 so fast. You can’t even think. Like imagine you’re them? Dealing with a storm, shopping, thinking and believing things are one way and then all of a sudden!!! You have to accept that MONSTERS EXIST!!!!!!???? Omg. How wild!!

Hope you stay safe with the Tornado issue. You're reaction towards the end had me rolling. Everytime I watch this I want to slap Ms. Carmody with some gloves like a higher class-man with Ollie as my favorite
