And yeah. Ed and Lorraine are right, knowing a demons name gives complete dominion over it. Thats why they hide as wolves in sheep’s clothing. Because if your faith is strong enough, once you use its name? You invoke the power of Christ partnering with YOU. And there is no bond stronger than the covenant between Jesus and humanity. He died for us after all hehe it’s not us that has any power, it’s our relationship with him and our faith in HIS love and protection that allow Him to aid and help and support us. Lorraine demonstrates that perfectly. It fought but all dying wolves do, but once she used the power of dominion and naming it? It was a wrap. You won’t catch me saying that name out loud tho. Also, I just gotta say; as scary as living this life would be? They the realist. And the PERFECT combo!!! Ed is a real one. Strong, smart, clever, supportive, capable. Even though he can’t really see shit, he still is there and so brave! And the Lorraine. Miss Lorraine. So much respect for her and I would NEVER want that gift. Sure she helps and saves but could you imagine? Are we gonna talk about it or ignore it? Cuz baby? Omg. She is THE bravest!!! Can you imagine the shit that woman has seen. Rest in Peace Miss Lorraine. I can’t even imagine what you’ve been thru. And you STILL continued. Ed wasn’t kidding and don’t forget or downplay it; Lorraine IS/was one of the most powerful Clairvoyants. Man. So wild.

The one thing that annoys me about this movie is that the Skeptic lady never sees any obvious paranormal occurrences and stays a skeptic. The family could've protected themselves by having the skpetic stay with them, the demon would never show itself in front of her.
