Wow. The details to this movie are so great and shows how people deal with trauma so differently … even when they’re family members… One sister? Ran away from anything serious. Married a man that is kinda dumb but loves her and lets her be something silly and just a mom and wife and worry about things like that… Then the other sister. Felt so guilty cuz of what happened with her mom that she goes and becomes a therapist in order to atone for not helping her mom.

And you can totally tell India was a caregiver and just an all around great person. She actually cares for people. You can see her work thru her own uncomfortable feelings and reach out. That’s incredible. I think it’s why her reactions are so unlike anyone else….cuz she actually cares and puts herself in there. It’s just who she is. And it makes her reactions so incredible!

The acting in this movie is just absolutely incredible! For such a supernatural theme to feel so grounded, authentic, and real? Yeah. Bravo! Plus…it’s not a remake! A fresh take on the demons of trauma … as someone who suffers from a major depressive disorder….this one freaks me out. And you never really know what other people are going thru.
