🕑 Added 2025-01-16 21:21:04 +0000 UTCso i think i've mentioned before that when i release this upcoming electronic album, im actually gonna release it under a different name, other than ricky jamaraz, so it doesn't conflict with the vastly different genres that most of RJ stuff is.
tonight i was thinking and i think i've decide that i'm not just gonna release it under some other name, i'm gonna fully promote it under a different name, which would mean starting from scratch with a new social media account with this new name. i've been itching for a fresh start like that for ages, so here's my chance!
like i said, this doesn't mean this is 'the end of ricky jamaraz' or anything, this will be just a temporary switch of names for this upcoming release. it just makes more sense in my head, yk??
plus its kind of a fun idea, starting from scratch. it's like those mobile games called idle supermarket simulator or something where once you get to a certain level, you can reset but then in that resetted game you get a x2 boost on all the money. that's the same as me, starting again, but with all the experience i have now about making music and promoting it and whatever.
so yeah, this is sort of me word vomiting and thinking aloud. i haven't made these new accounts yet but i will soon and i'll do a proper announcement so everyone else in the rj community knows what im up to.
but yeah, that's just what im thinking right now at 9:19pm on a random thursday evening

If you want my honest opinion, I don't think you should post them under a different name. I feel like it's the next RJ era and even though it's different, it should still be released under the RJ name. That's just my personal opinion, I know it's not going to change your mind, and honestly I don't care what name you release it under, it's your music, you get to choose what you do with it I guess. (Btw sorry if this comes across as rude, that wasn't my intention)

Well, RJ8 is RTZ deluxe, so I guess that counts as indie stuff. Even tho the next two albums will be released under a different name I think I'll still consider them as albums 9 and 10. Then you've got the Sammy Phase stuff which could eventually become album 11, so yeah 👍 not quite sure what my plan is afterwards tho!
