Ch. 11: Preview #7

"You need to accept it and lay across my knees – right now.”
The room seemed to warp, as if reality itself was crumbling before him. But Jen physically felt unmistakably real, her thigh incredibly solid and grounded as he timidly leaned against it. Cautiously she released his arm, waiting for him to submit on his own.
No. His mind revolted. I can’t! But it seemed she’d trained him too well already: after an agonizing inner struggle, he caved in and bent down. There was no other choice. If she’d decided already, then fighting would only make it worse. Her thighs accepted his weight effortlessly; her off hand settled onto the small of his back, securing him in place.
“Good boy,” she praised, without irony. “This just proves that you can do the right thing, given enough time to think. But time is what we don’t have on the show. We need you obeying me in an instant, every time, no matter what the course throws at us. This is how we do that.”
Her firm pressure on his back increased. His trembling hand gripped the cuff of her boot on impulse, just beneath her leather-wrapped calf. Anchoring himself. Bracing. Trying not to breathe.
“You’ve earned this for what you’ve done in the past,” her steady voice intoned, “but it’s also to help you become better. Are you ready?” she asked, her voice firm and steady.
His vision blurred as his body squirmed. He had to get out of here!
“Mouse?”
He couldn’t speak. He … He just had to—
*Thwap* He heard the sound and felt the shockwave first. Then, beyond a flood of adrenaline, a stinging pain rose.
“One,” her strong voice counted calmly, a terrible silence filling its wake.
*Thwap* The jolt again; the brief stun. Then the sting.
“Two.”
*Thwap*
“Three. Stay still…”
The stinging kept getting worse … but the blows kept coming.
Jen could feel her Mouse’s reaction change and evolve with every stroke. The way he tensed up, first in surprise, then in resistance.
… *Thwap*
“Six.”
Thwap
“Seven” …
And then, around nine and ten, the first inklings of panic. She sensed it in his little quivers, his fingers digging into her calf, his quickening breaths accentuated by a cut-off yelp at the very end.
Nora had suggested ten as a minimum, and that worked out perfectly. She stopped there. ‘Give him only what he can handle,’ Nora had advised, ‘and not one bit less.’
He clutched her boot even tighter, his breaths growing only more nervous when no more blows came down. Wow. She understood now why mothers had been doing this since time before time. Nothing she’d done before could compare to the raw physicality of this approach. The connection it forged between them. The potency; the potential to create change. She soaked in the power of this moment, and knew already that she would do this again. Not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon. It was an incredible tool.
… Oh. Right. She’d left him hanging, tensing up, unsure what to expect. “We’re done,” she softly informed him, gently patting and stroking his back. She felt a little shiver start at his head and travel all the way down. She considered standing him up … but a new instinct kicked in. She wanted him closer, not farther away. Wanted to pull him in and look him right in the eye and talk him through his scary ordeal.
And that’s exactly what she did.
Theo startled as his daughter’s unstoppable hands turned him over and slid him upright. He hissed suddenly as his tender bottom brushed against her nearest thigh. Her legs widened to let his tush settle in the space between them while—oh dear god—she pulled him into her torso from the waist up. He didn’t know how to react to all this yet, stunned, overwhelmed, his cheeks burning hot, with a vague sense that this was all wrong—yet all he could think about suddenly was the cushy warmth of her breast as it spread and molded around him.
And then there were her heartstopping eyes, her beautiful tender face, frighteningly close. He shifted in distress, causing him to give another halting yip as his stinging bottom touched her thigh.
“Shhhh … Shhhhhh …” Her gentle breath wafted over him, every bit as warm as her stomach, her legs, her chest. “The bad part’s done,” she whispered, in a voice so meltingly sweet, so concerned. “You’re OK, buddy. Everything’s OK.”
He’d been ready to rail against her just moments ago, to shout and thrash and curse her name. But suddenly he … he couldn’t do anything but look into her eyes. An get lost in them.
“That’s it.” Her eyebrows crinkled in relief as he relaxed; her expression twisted in compassion. “Just relax. Easy breaths. You’ll feel better in no time. I know you will.”
In his confused state, these words brought him a strange sense of relief. He was almost grateful for her kindness, her warmth…
Wait—what was he thinking? She had just spanked him! How could he—But—!
“Shhhh.” She enwrapped him even tighter. Oh goddd, the reward of her soft, intimate embrace was almost worth the humiliation of her punishment already. In fact, the agony of her blows was no worse than what he’d endured from Alice a number of times — and if anything, Jen’s embrace was even more arresting, more sublime…
Butterflies fluttered through Jen as she witnessed how quickly her Mouse relaxed into her, his head settling on her shoulder, his body curling and rolling toward her in sweet submission, acceptance. Oh wowww. It only proved the power of this new approach even more. Case in point: she felt his hand brush the underside of her breast, then again moments later — no doubt accidentally both times — but he didn’t even overreact or get embarrassed! Not like he normally would. She felt them growing as a team by the second.
“Makin’ me proud,” she hummed, running her hand through his hair and warmly planting a kiss atop his head. “You’re really becoming a good Mouse.” She smiled breezily. “A few more spankings, and you might be just about perfect.”
His little mouth gasped and he pulled away. He said something unintelligible but Jen got the gist: he’d thought this was a one-time thing.
But c’mon, they both knew he’d act up again sooner or later. Plus, ‘a guy can always improve’, Lola had told her, after revealing that even well-mannered Ned earned himself a spanking just about once a week. Jen could see her and her Mouse falling into a similar pattern — but maybe on an even tighter timeframe, with the Champions Round just around the corner. Who knows: if he gave her an excuse during tonight’s Exhibition, even a slight one, she might be able to justify another spanking as early as tomorrow. The thought brought a bright smile to her lips. It was too good a tool not to take advantage.
“There’ll be more,” she assured her appalled-seeming buddy. “I can guarantee that. The only question is how well you’ll behave, to make sure it happens less.”
Aww, he didn’t like that at all. But that was good: maybe he’d take it to heart. She stood him up and rose from the mini-bed, enclosing her hand firmly around his as she hunched over and led him out of his room. She had no intention of letting him out of arm’s reach, not for the foreseeable future. “C’mon,” she buzzed. “Let’s get ready.”

Interesting idea! That would be a nice detail to put things in perspective. Might do that in the exhibition or in the next round.

😍 I originally wrote the scene harsher, but decided to change it to include this more compassionate aspect, and I like how it turned out

Theo got what he deserved! I'd like for him to disobey her during the match and get hit with a backhand from Jen-a nice smack where he sees stars and lets him know how rough she can be when she puts some effort into it, too!
