Small Chapter 1-2 update
🕑 Added 2023-08-14 13:34:38 +0000 UTCI've made a small update - mostly typos, but also a couple of tweaks. You can now have had a negative relationship with the foster family in the orphan background, and I've reworked how asexuality is set. Previously I was intending to set grey ace or demisexuality later on via later conversations, but although I liked those conversations, I realised it didn't quite work because they weren't conversations you always have, so the game wasn't able to always be responsive to, say, demisexuality in the way I wanted. One of those things I'd have liked to realise first time around but it'll be helpful going forward.
I haven't done a fresh feedback survey for Chapter 2 and am not sure whether to do one now or to wait until the next chapter. I didn't want to give everyone questionnaire fatigue, haha! But... I also want to make sure I've got avenues to report things or give feedback that everyone's happy with (not everyone's on the forum, not everyone wants to be posting under their name, etc).
So I'm a bit stuck and not totally sure. If you like or don't like the idea of a feedback survey per chapter, please let me know!

That makes total sense, I feel the same when I'm giving feedback sometimes haha!

I love the questionnaires! especially with the guided/specific questions as sometimes I get stuck on "everything was lovely, can't wait for more!", but also just in general, as I do still prefer anonymous means when possible

A compromise could be every few chapters make a more in depth feedback survey. But after every chapter release do a shorter one with like fill in the blank like "how did you feel about X plot development/narrative" or a field for suggestions in how to change something? I know the last survey had some good in depth questions about how you like certain things or characters. So maybe have one like that every few updates then the smaller one every update?

That makes sense, it's something I like too as it helps me organise my thoughts. I'm thinking I might do one for Chapter 2 after all and then see how it feels...

Yeah, I had been wondering about doing it every couple of chapters but am kind of feeling like I want to do another one - I might do one for Chapter 2 and if it feels too frequent people can wait till later, or I can do one for Chapter 4 rather than 3...

Nice work! Very happy to see my suggestion about the foster family taken into account :) If you'd like, you could do feedback surveys every 2/3 chapters, because a singular chapter might be too short to get the best sense of everything involved.

I personally like the idea of feedback surveys because I feel more comfortable detailing stuff in that way
