I actually do like his "naiveté and unease" myself in the beginning, but I defiantly want him to grow more dominating and aggressive the more experiences he has particularly if he's not sticking to one chick. It would fit the story well too. Though I'd be open to some degree of options as long as the overall story wasent compromised

Hoping the protagonist (either naturally or because of corruptive influance) will gradually become more aggressive with his lades Hale included.
