I received a ping from the dxvk author today for the following hotfix:
@GloriousEggroll sorry for ping but you might want to update dxvk in your proton builds asap,
since we've been writing invalid state cache files that can lead to all sorts of trouble.

Per the commit it will invalidate old caches automatically, you do not need to do anything yourself.

I already happily work for Red Hat and have been here going on 5 years. That being said I am friends with a lot of people involved with proton and converse regularly with them on new bugs/features/releases etc given it's not private information.

It's working fine here on a clean install + prefix
Path of Exile is now broken on my machine. Running Linux Mint with latest updates. When launching path of exile, the game logo just spins slowly. Sorry I can't add more info. Tried reinstalling path of exile, no joy. Will try to reinstall steam + path of exile. Edit: Tried using different compatibility options in steam, nothing works. (also reinstalled steam + path of exile). So something changed, unsure what though.
