If you guys want to watch a good movie about Sherman tanks. Watch Fury.

The timer is great, but it'd be better, I think, if you added a blurred video. My HBO time is different than the timer you use and sometimes de-sync happens or an accidental pause, making it hard to re-sync.

Also, we have Cadbury mini eggs in the US, fyi. π

When you asked whose tanks those were, they were American tanks. The second armored was an American division. The British army also used Shermans, but the US gave them to the British. In upcoming episodes, you will see the British armor.

Thank you for pointing that out Jeff! Yeah we completely missed that <3 Great to hear Blithe survived and could even serve further! A very emotional episode this one!

I'm not sure why, but you didn't see the note on the screen at the end. It said: "By the time Easy Company was pulled off the line on June 29, they had lost 65 men. Albert Blithe never recovered from the wounds he received in Normandy. He died in 1948." Strangely, this information about Blithe is not at all accurate. Blithe actually recovered from his wounds and later served in Korea with the 187th Airborne Regimental Combat Team, where he was awarded a bronze and silver star for jumping behind enemy lines surrounded by a Chinese battalion. He lived until 1967, when he died at age 44 as the result of a perforated ulcer. I'm not sure how the producers of the show got it so wrong, but after the series aired, Blithe's comrades made sure to set the record straight. In the future episodes, make sure you continue to watch after the final fade-out of each episode, because you'll see very important and relevant information.
