This one's a bit unserious, tho it does highlight a lot of the infrastructure differences. And fuel prices. This particular truck has been tuned & modified by Hennessey Performance, so it's more potent than what you'd buy off a showroom floor. The general size is about the same, tho this is probably lifted a bit. The most common pickups in the U.S. are "half-ton" trucks (an outdated rating number) like the Ford F-150 and the Ram (Dodge), Chevy, and GMC 1500 series trucks. You can go heavier - and larger - with Ford's Super Duty F250/F350 or 2500/3500 series from the other companies. The F350/3500 trucks can also be equipped with a dual rear wheel, widening the back end by about 8 inches per side. That can even make daily driving in the U.S. a challenge. Also, do you not have pay at the pump over there? Not moving up to pay is a bit of a d*ck move, tho the van did box them in. Tho to be fair, I do have to turn in & then back up to the station at the pharmacy drive-thru at Kroger. The F-350 won't make the turn directly. Oh - and the power folding mirrors are a must-have option.
