Omg there goes Burnie and the construction again. Lol I heard a while ago that Downing Street is a mess and in desperate need of renovation but each prime minister wants the prestige of occupying that building so the necessary updates never get done.

As a former QA dev at 2K Sports back in 2007, it’s not glamorous. Everyone thinks it’s like Grandmas Boy and it’s far from it. I worked there for a year and tested 5 different games over that time. You also work long hours, sometimes double OT and I made around $12 per hour. Because I worked at 2K, it was just sports games, so you’re playing the same game types every single day looking for bugs. The worst game I ever played was a college basketball demo that me and 3 other QA’s had to play for a week. It was 5 minute periods and only 2 teams to play as, so it made the days long and boring. I do look back fondly working there. It was fun, but it’s not what people think QA is.

Also forgot to mention, hiiiiiiiighly recommend Edgedancer Ashley , it's a novella that takes place between words of radiance and oathbringer , it gives a comprehensive backstory for Lift , the first chapter which is over an hour long can be skipped because it was an interlude in words of radiance giving her initial introduction

Warthunder is an online free to play game where you participate in dogfights in various types of planes, mainly from WWII I believe. You can also fight in tanks and I'm pretty sure the same devs also made a game that's the same theme but this time it's war ships. A few years back people leaked classified military documents to prove a certain plane in the game didn't work how it does in real life. Pretty insane

Now to be fair, Burnie. I think it has been shown that Lithium Ion batteries are just as scary - if not moreso - than gasoline. Hopefully the next big leap in technology is in batteries
