realizing burnie is 53 now made my little heart burst. can't believe i grew up listening to this guy, oh man. that said, for someone like burnie, handmade is the only way (as someone who had a mom with a birthday of jan 13th). LOL. you can't get past his defenses otherwise. like labyrinth of dodging birthday gifts.

As a 55 y/o survivor of the December 29 birthday, I can vouch for how terrible it is. As a child I tried having a McDonaldland birthday parties but nobody was available. My birthday cakes consisted of snowman or snow scenes. I wanted a cool summer birthday. I wanted a pool party without the hypothermia ☹️.
