Good choice having a subsribestars as a backup a couple of creators I follow had to switch to subsribestars when patreon kicked them out. So I have followed them there I think it is completely safe and great way to support creators other than patreon.

No worries! I get it, patreon isn't the be all end all, just wanted to know is substar is a safe alternative for both subs and content creator. Guess I'll do some more research after work.
