I use both services and would follow you without hesitation. That said I also think Patreon kinda sucks and I'm not really impressed with the app. I am new to all this and rather old but not too averse to tech. I just don't see the necessity for a mediocre app for everything.

Subscribestar only has a credit card. And it's not like PayPal where I can hide the payments from my wife :) I recently lost a creative person. (HRelease has also stopped on Patreon)

Two artists I follow already got banned, no explanation, no response from customer service, just like that (The moved to Substar.) Some ppl suggested it might have to do with Patreon being in the Apple store that has a no NSFW policy, but I don't know how true that is...

Sadly i already seen some people go to subscribestar because of patreon policy, some of them got banned for no explanation.

If your prices don't increase over at Subscribestar then I would. But regardless, if Patreon is getting on your ass then I don't see why shouldn't. You shouldn't have to struggle with BS policy & arbitrary limitations

The problem is Subscribestar limits the types of payment options. I used to have an account until they changed that which made paying difficult.

Subscribestar really needs an app. Having to check the site for updates and not getting notifications from creators kinda sucks

I think anyone whos been watching what's happening to other websites knows what might happen if you stay. I'd rather see your work free from restrictions, instead of having to appease the censors.

Especially I finally got a grib with Blender and ready for pulling out frequent content . 2022 left a big hole and Im about to re-pay it with hard work. Least I need is unnessary labour just for guidlines . Not saying something did happen but just in case.
