You can do that with shapekeys deformations connected to drivers. It take a long time and you can mess things up. You mean muscle "contraction" probabely.

How long till someone builds a model with a bone and muscle layer underneath the skin layer? So that when the model moves their arm, the back, chest and shoulders muscles automatically move the way they are supposed to?
